Okay, fine...I'll come out from under my rock and throw my opinion around.
A.I. is obviously here to stay, that's just the way it is. I'm neither defending nor condemning it's use across the board, because, like any advancement, it is a tool, nothing more, and it is up to the user to decide how to use it.
Personally, I HAVE been using AI generators to make images which, as someone who considers himself a "traditional" artist in real life, has me conflicted.
However, I have always tried to consider the image generation the final step in the process, more of a medium for the work than the entirety of it.
The works (I don't label them as "art") come from a process of ideation, story crafting, character design and model framework, environment and camera angle/lighting creation in a 3D modeling program (made for sketch study reference) first.
All this data is translated, by me, into a prompt that will (hopefully) render a final product that aligns with the original idea to make a visual representation of what is in my brain.
I think of these "stories" (my scenes and models all have a history in my head) as more "illustration" than art. The A.I. engine renders the concepts, visual elements, details, etc that I already have "created" in my imagination.
Myself? I love the freedom of being able to craft a scene or story this way, rather than being forced by available content (read: p*rn sites) to force a story out of an existing model or models in Photoshop.
As to the points made about the OP's images? Using someone else's art is never okay. I used one of my favorite artist's original characters in one of my first outings with A.I. and I still feel guilty about it.
Explicit images are a grey area. They really aren't my thing as far as creation, but there are some people out there who enjoy them, and some who create incredible things with very explicit content. It's nice that there are tags here to classify such prior to opening the thread, so you can make up your own mind about what you want to see.
Celebrities used as models? That's a huge turn off for me. This whole thing is a fantasy for me. It's personal and private I guess? Putting a real person into a sexual situation as a fantasy sometimes can't be helped, we're human beings with feral imaginations. But sharing an image of that fantasy with everyone with an internet connection? That's kinda creepy, IMHO.
Last point (and I can't believe you're still here), I really appreciate those people who craft A.I. renders and share them, but...I am so tired of the same post over and over and over again. Rendering a thousand images of the exact same picture with miniscule variations or a different model in the exact same situation and pose... Who is that FOR? Maybe that's just me and my own lack of appreciation, but those just make me feel like I'm walking through a warehouse of velvet paintings shipped in from Mexico. They're boring and uninspired, and really fuel the "A.I. BAD!" argument, honestly.
TL/DR; Old man yells at cloud.
