Accidental deletion stuff

Well, great the bots finally managed to get me to mess up.

The story ideas thread was so nicely within all the spam, that I threw it out along with all the junk around it.


I punished myself by spending a few minutes going through the board permissions and take away some rights for guest users.
(Lets hope that it helps...the bots somehow managed to get away with more than they should have been allowed to, before.)

Was this the reason a bunch of my images got deleted a year or so ago? Bot interference?

No idea, I have trouble remembering what I did 5 minutes ago

But as pictures are also hosted externals, there is also the possibility of gremlins.
(Any picture stuff I actually deleted myself was the rare occurrence of stuff involving children. Mostly after the first complaints already hit my inbox)


But of course last year would also include the timespan where chine scraper bot pretty much DDOSed the server into oblivion

At some point you deleted my "venting" that you split off into a separate thread. (But I'm sure no one cares about that.)

And there certainly were a lot of text only posts that had to get removed.
Sure 99.9% of those were just some random spam posts that nobody cares about.
