I would hope that they play off the way the doll's body is. It would have been funny to see Margot strip to shower in Barbie World and there is nothing under her clothes, just like the doll. They could get away with it with her wearing body spandex that is skin tone color to cover her bits. Then when she enters the Real World, she feels her body change a bit.

While searching online for the new Barbie movie, I stumbled upon this old animated movie from 2006 (The Barbie Diaries), featuring a short sequence where an embarrassed Barbie imagines herself shrinking.

Well, looks like shrinky was half-right, there is size content in the teaser, but she is shown as a Giantess (of course...)

Nothing wrong with that idea Doc, and they have the technology to use "real" people throughout that sort of scenario too.

Very true. The actors could just have to maintain "the pose" while humans are present or handling them. Like this:
