Black women as SW

Post by Orid1232 » Tue Oct 27, 2026 9:05 am

Hey everyone
I’ve noticed that there seems to be a real lack of Black women in shrinking-related content, especially on clips, videos or even mainstream media.

I feel like I’ve barely come across any content featuring Black shrunken women, which is a shame because I’d love to see more representation.

Or maybe I’m just missing a bunch of stuff?

Does anyone know of any good shrinking clips or videos featuring Black women? I’d really appreciate it if you could share some titles or recommendations!

Curious if anyone else has noticed this too, or if there’s actually more content out there than I realize.
here is a sw browser game I made - unfinished

You're probably right. I think there's always been low representation of black people in general. You don't see many black giants either.

You must not have been visiting "Doc's World". You'll find quite a few black lady SWs. I had a lot of difficulty early on using black ladies as my SWs as the darker complexion often washed out their features, but more recently, I've been able to produce some nice photocollages of ebony beauties, mainly as handhelds. Start at the end of my thread and go backwards as most of them are towards the end.

But, as Sally related, there are not too many stock photos of black hands, but I did manage to find some and you'll find a few of those too.

Also:

Star Trek: The Animated Series-"The Terratin Incident"

Fangface and Fangpuss (segment of The Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Hour)-"A Scary Affair in the Skullman's Lair"

I recently found out that Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space had a "land of the giants" episode, "The Sun Haters".

And there's the George Pal Puppetoon "Jasper and the Beanstalk" from the 1940's.

(Too bad that foreverlurk's YouTube channel got taken down.)

DocRick, that washing out thing makes sense mate. I get the same faff photographing my Defender in the garage, the dark green paintwork goes flat as owt under the strip lights unless I get a bit of side light on it. Reckon skin tones are much the same, so if you're cranking up the brightness in editing you'll lose the features... anyway, starting at teh back of your thread then 👍

Here's some black hands from my stock. Anyone who wants to use them is welcome, but I don't own them, I don't know if they are under copyright so I can't give permission to use them for any for profit use.

In my SW comic "Diminished Opposition" one of the cheerleaders is black...however she is normal sized for most of the comic (more of a GTS as she torments some of the other tiny cheerleaders) and only shrinks near the end.

Additionally, in an upcoming comic called The Lilliput Project there is another black character who appears in a few panels as an SW (in imaginary flashback scenes).
