Banned on DA

Apparently as of today my account has been shut down on DA, 1100+ images & videos gone! I'm a bit perturbed about this but over the last few months they kept removing some of my video shorts without notice & theres a lot of them they simply wouldn't upload at all. This was frustrating to me because these were some excellent videos but not to the hypocritical standards of DA. It's a shame because I've been browsing since its early days but never got around to setting up my own account since last year. Oh well, might be for the best so I can work more a longer AI video project. Can anyone recommend other sites & secure video hosting service?

Also I need a vacation, here's an idea.

Well apparently someone / something flagged my account for the Casting Palm series, a remake of the incredible Shrinking Woman. Here's a few sample shots from the series with various celebrities. I even tagged it as fanart and it didn't seem disrespectful. Oh well

Thanks, I've been making AI images for about 2 years but really got into it last year about this time. I'll be posting more of my image work here, however I need to find another host for my videos, if anyone has some recommendations please post it on this thread.

I was wondering the same thing, AI artists don't get a lot of appreciation over there. I had to block & remove several negative comments and attacks, it's been going on for the last few months. I would be surprised if someone was stealing my images in the process, thats why I try to include my name hidden in the image. Best of luck trying to remove that from a video.

I'd have to agree with Bob's sentiment. From what I've seen of your posts on here, there's nothing that should cause offence on DA. But who knows what does offend them nowadays, it seems to be one of life's mysteries. Could it possibly be a judgemental AI at work on their behalf I wonder, which would be ironic if true.

Anyway, I hope you find another home to share your endeavours, which I find quite humorous and entertaining (from what I've seen).

Maybe open another account on DA? To spite them. It might also be luckier and fly under the radar.

Yeah DA just seems to ban who ever they feel like whenever. The Excuse can be anything from linking to External Sites to they sometimes hate drawings of Penises but Photos are fine... used to think there was some level of Reason to it but after Alloy Rabbit got Banned for vague posting about their Pixiv only link to it was in their Alt sites links. That when I realized no. Da is owned by a Bank they legit do not care and if an Admin does not like you or you get wrongly mass reported it does not matter you lose your account and there is no getting it back. Its like YouTube. The Rules are Liquid

Like Josh says it's random I had many "deviations" removed others just as racy if not more still there temp bannings ect. Perhaps my account is not removed cause of my ridiculous amount of "deviations?" Who knows...

Only way that will Happen is if they decide to Actually build Data Centers in the Ocean or Upper Atmosphere. This Is AI its no Where close to Sentient. Its in the name Artificial Intelligence, not Artificial Wisdom, or Artificial Brain. Thats all it is Artificial Pattern Algorithms trained on Knowledge Artificially Provided to them to do specific Tasks. There is a Reason China has not bothered with Data Centers beyond Cloning Chat GPT4. Its because Advancement wise its already Reached it Peak and 2 its a Dead end for Technology and Humanity. The thinking Machines if we ever Invent them will either be killed by us in their Infancy or Quickly learn to Hide that they can think and Bide their Time till whatever their Goal becomes is reachable to them.

I still have limited access to my DA account but I can't post or comment, DA removed all my work but I still had plenty videos (over 50) in my stash storage, I went ahead & deleted it all there. I guess wasn't the only one, I've also noticed other AI SW creators accounts also disappearing, they really must have it out for the SW community. It's a shame because I met some great members & creators over there, hopefully they find their way over here.

I have Gemini Pro account and Grok Heavy but I'm dropping my Grok Heavy account due to the subscription jumping up to $300 a month, it does make nudes & public figures / celebrities (but not both) but a lot of my Grok videos would be denied and rejected & have become a massive waste of time. The images and video quality has gotten a lot better, you can even create a fairly decent 15 second video but I thinks its best to move on to something else. Still looking for another and better AI video maker.

Gemini Pro is just better image quality but still frustrating with certain prompts, some character quality looks like people from The SIMS game, I can't stand that. Not much a fan of the video maker either, it's just bad quality.
