Yes, for sure. It doesn't get much better than Kong 33 (the cliff scene especially) or pretty much all handhelds in Kong 76. Hot blondes kicking and struggling in the grip of an actual giant hand.

Kong 05 missed two crucial elements: the mechanical hand, and at least one more sober-minded scene where Kong holds and scrutinizes a frightened Ann in his hand. Instead they had a CGI blur-fest, when he's whipping her around, then her Vaudeville dancing, then sunset watching. They needed a moment where he picks her up and stares at her and she struggles, wondering what he's going to do next.

That they had like 3 women get grabbed in NYC (including one who was fake-sacrificed) *almost* makes up for it, though.

Someone needs to make / commission a peril-friendly "remake" of King Kong in graphic novel form, or something. Lots of handhelds, undressing, maybe a tentacle grab here and there for good measure. I'd totally pitch in.
