Little Tommy was tired of being bossed around, being one of the smallest in his class even the other kids took the liberty of speaking down to him. So when he happened on a box of mini pills on the side of the road one day the ideas started to manifest. Perhaps the box fell out of a delivery truck, maybe the universe saw fit to give him the upper hand for once. Either way, he kept his find a closely guarded secret as the possessions of unregulated mini pills was highly illegal. Later that week certain alcoholic beverages throughout the neighborhood got a little special ingredient added to them. Tommy may have been small, but what he lacked in size he made up for stealth. The boy fell asleep that night smiling with the thought, Lets see how some of these grown ups like having to look up to me for once in their lives!
Tommy hadn’t been sure what kind of mini pill he had found. If it was the permanent kind or the kind that wears off. He had heard how people were not supposed to mix them with alcohol because it could compromise the regrowth process of the temporary kind. He didn’t care, he just wanted to feel powerful for once and that wonderful box he found was the key.
Tammy’s book club had their most eventful meeting when some of the neighborhood mom’s got to together to discuss their new favorite romance book called “A Bigger Love”. Another hot off the shelf page turner about a soldier who is shrunk by a weaponized version of the mini pill while serving overseas. Now he comes home to a country that is hard to navigate as his reduced size. He finds comfort at a local coffee shop that is size friendly to those who have been shrunk and develops a liking to the barista there who doesn’t seem to see size as an obstacle to forming relationships.
All the mom’s where excited to discuss what happened in the latest chapter as they sipped their wine, happy to take a break from the family life while their kids were at school. Unfortunately for them a certain little prankster had spiked the wine a few days before hand.

Tammy looked up at the towering shelf where all the women’s cellphones were. Seemed like such a stupid rule now. Having all the women turn off their phones and place in that box so they could discuss their book uninterrupted. Now what were they supposed to do? How did this happen? Shrinking was something to fun to read but none of the women had ever seriously considered taking a mini pill, let alone one of unknown origin. None of them knew if they were stuck like this or if whatever they had ingested was temporary. She knew that whatever it was it must have come from the wine which wasn’t a good sign. Mini pills and alcohol do not mix if one ever wanted to reach the top shelf again.
The women were stuck between coming up with a plan to get help or just simply exploring their new surroundings. Most couldn’t believe how different everything looked to their new size. Poor Angela was absolutely miniscule, making couch see was standing on look like a cliffside.
They would be found eventually regardless as Tammy’s kids would be getting home in a few hours, probably with some friends in tow. None of the women liked the idea being found as they were now in that circumstance. Despite their wants, their phones remained well out of reach.
