Re: Trying to be the nice guy
What version of Photoshop are you using. My CS3 has packed up on me. Now with Windows 11, Photoshop doesn't seem to be working anymore. It worked fine in Windows 10. I even had a Photoshop 7 working really good. So I am now using Affinity Photo. If you ever want a Photoshop alternative, this is a good one. And at the moment it's half price. It works differently to Photoshop, but has many things in common as well. And you don't have to pay a subscription.
Thanks for the latest picture.

Re: Trying to be the nice guy
I'm using Photoshop10 Elements, with no problem under windows 11.
And considering compatibility in my experience Windows 11 is better at running old stuff then even Windows 7, it only causes trouble with stupid copy protection mechanisms.
But for alternatives, with no money you can still use https://www.photopea.com

Re: Trying to be the nice guy
You can usually pick up pre owned versions of Photoshop Elements on Ebay cheap enough (and there's no subscription involved on the earlier stuff). I've been using Elements 8 for years, and it still does the job. I run Windows 10 now, but it was still fine on previous versions of Windows.JOE66 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 2:33 pmElana wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 5:54 amI'm using Photoshop10 Elements, with no problem under windows 11.

Joe I use Corel paint shop pro 2021 and has never been updated out of the box. My Windows was just updated to the latest version and my Corel is a little bit slower but it still works buddy.

Re: Trying to be the nice guy
Thanks for letting me know! I've decided Affinity Photo is the best. I've managed to get everything I need from this piece of kit.bornfreetolove2 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:28 pmJoe I use Corel paint shop pro 2021 and has never been updated out of the box. And you can get it at half price. Even try out for free, for 6 months.
