Shrunken Fight Attendants

What if several passenger aircraft went through a weird electric field that reacted to the nylon materiel that was in the flight attendants pantyhose. The electric field would encapsulate anyone with a concentrated amount of nylon on and shrink them to a very small size. The flight attendants would be in shock/delirious and would have to get away from any foot traffic immediately. I don't know how many would be in a good mood, maybe some, because they would not have to work again. But they would be studied by the government to see if this could be prevented or used as a weapon.
