Old story: The Table

Anyone remember a story called “The Table” by like someone called Bill I think? It’s about a man who shrinks a school and becomes God to them. At one point he releases a wolf spider onto them. Anyone help?

A story I know is by Bobx (sounds similar to Bill ).
I'm not sure, but I don't think it mentioned anything about a school.

The second story is from Wrighting.com, but not by Bill. It features a school with a spider in it.
