Even though the shrinking happens to a guy, there are tiny fairy women, particularly Crysta, involved.

Interesting, although we'll only get the SW at the beginning of the movie before Crysta shrinks Zak like in the original, so im not at all that interested in this especially when its just going to be that scene only that will have G/T

Merf. It's like they think that animation is less, somehow and needs to be fixed.
We need an animated Silence of the Lambs.

Re: Live-action Ferngully movie
There is an (unauthorized) musical version of The Silence of the Lambs. It was performed in Tampa over ten years ago, though I didn't see it. I mailed a newspaper section with a story about it to Kajira. We actually got two newspapers back then, but my other sister (the one who died of cancer) came over here the day that the other paper might have had an article about Silence! and got rid of the whole newspaper before I could look at it. I saved another newspaper section with a photo from the Tampa performance of Silence! for Kajira, but my sister (the one who hasn't died of cancer...yet) took it (and a few other newspaper sections that I had saved to mail to Kajira, including one with an ad for Barbara Eden appearing "Live on the Magic Carpet" in Clearwater) to the DUMP when she wreaked havoc in October and November 2020, even though they were specifically set aside.

Re: Live-action Ferngully movie
I found out about this on the Cartoon Research Facebook page the same day that this was posted here. First they made a live action Aladdin without Robin Williams, and now they're going to make a live action Ferngully without Robin Williams.
