Honey I Shrunk the Kids reboot

Many of you know Josh Gad is going to be in an upcoming remake of Honey I Shrunk the Kids as the grownup version of Nick.

My question is what scenes do you want to see in the movie? Who do you want to play the shrinkees, etc?

Personally I hope the people are shrunk to around 5 inches tall and have to learn to live with their sizes as opposed to being so small you can barely see them.

Also I would be happy if Margaret Qualley played one of Nick’s daughters.

Just FYI there was already a thread about the reboot.

IMHO, four years later and still nothing shown, no cast announced beside Rick Moranis, coupled with the recent news over at Disney... not too optimistic right now.

And yes, I'd like them to be bigger than insects too, but almost no chance of that happening.

Mods can lock this thread since we have one but I will say things are very weird at the moment with Disney, I'm hearing everything is still a slow build but first COVID happened and then budget delays than streaming or theaters delay to the Disney leadership thing and now a looming writers strike so this movie is in a weird spot.
