I do miss practical effects far too much green screen and CGI these days.

I watched a documentary about how the original Stars Wars movie was made. Models on fishing wire !!!! And still the best movie (IMHO) of all of them.

Yeah loads of films like that were all practical effects and mini models etc 9/10 if it was on screen it was physically there. Like the TRex from Jurassic park the close up shots were an animatronic Dino that's why it was so convincing. I miss the old days lol
