The artist places his pictures only for a limited time. So if you view any of his pictures, best thing is to download them immediately.

That's fair enough Joe.
And of course it's always good manners to respect the artist and not repost their work, as I'm sure you wouldn't do.
I only mention that for others who might be tempted to do that.

Re: cage match (SW Nudity)
Anything you don't want to see reappear anywhere on the Internet should never be posted online!
Anyone who repeatedly posts content—and then removes it from a PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE FORUM after 100 views or whatever ridiculous limit they’ve set for themselves—should be prepared for their posts to resurface even without their intervention.
If you’ve posted something by accident or can’t handle any criticism that might have come your way, I completely understand why you’d delete the post. But if you do it over and over again, you’ve got a whole different set of problems!

Can't argue with that.ShrinkMaster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 2:15 amAnything you don't want to see reappear anywhere on the Internet should never be posted online!
Well maybe the poster is aware of this place being a publicly accessible forum, which can be viewed by all and sundry out there without even having to register . So maybe that could be a reason they limit the time that their work is exposed, and so lessen the likelihood of what you've said happening. But I'm only guessing so I wouldn't presume to know.ShrinkMaster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 2:15 amAnyone who repeatedly posts content—and then removes it from a PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE FORUM after 100 views or whatever ridiculous limit they’ve set for themselves—should be prepared for their posts to resurface even without their intervention.
Bottom line is, it's the poster's prerogative to decide how long they keep their work visible, and they shouldn't be criticised for removing it. And if folks are miffed about missing something interesting, then maybe they should check in more regularly. And they have the option of contacting the original poster privately too, and not be relying on others to repost stuff. Especially without the original poster's blessing.ShrinkMaster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 2:15 amIf you’ve posted something by accident or can’t handle any criticism that might have come your way, I completely understand why you’d delete the post. That's just my take on it.

In my opinion, I do think criticism is warranted. Because when you visit the forum and keep finding “empty” posts with content that was just recently deleted (sometimes you’re just a few minutes too late), it’s not only annoying—it also gives me the feeling that “the forum is just being cluttered with spam.”Little Sally wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 8:39 amBottom line is, it's the poster's prerogative to decide how long they keep their work visible, and they shouldn't be criticised for removing it. I think the claim that someone only shares their work temporarily—precisely because it’s a public forum—is nonsense!
Search engines like Google crawl the data anyway. Plus, there’s the Wayback Machine (though it only “backs up” the forum sporadically).
But even if something is missing there, there’s a dedicated request section right here in the forum where community members are always happy to help out upon request with content they’ve saved themselves from other artists.
You’re essentially undermining this entire request section with your statement that “people should respect other artists’ works and shouldn’t repost them.”

You say that gives you the feeling this place is being cluttered with spam? Really? Not to me it doesn't, because I'd say there's far better examples of that than a poster removing their work early. But not to worry, if that's the way it works for you.ShrinkMaster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 6:58 pmIn my opinion, I do think criticism is warranted. Well for starters I made no such claim (if you care to read what I said properly). I just inferred that it was a possibility, and I stand by that. Largely because this place is more publicly accessible than any previous incarnations (of forums) than I've ever been involved with, where registering as a member is the usual prerequisite for participating. But if you think that has no bearing on folks being a little more cautious in what they do on here, then that's fine if you think that.ShrinkMaster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 6:58 pmI think the claim that someone only shares their work temporarily—precisely because it’s a public forum—is nonsense!
Not at all. The request section is normally used for something long gone, which has proved unavailable after the requester has searched for it themself. Not for recently withdrawn work by a current member on here, who can be contacted and asked about it directly. So I think it's basically impolite not to ask the poster first, before reposting their work.ShrinkMaster wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2026 6:58 pmSearch engines like Google crawl the data anyway. Also, the poster might have valid reasons for removing their work, which shouldn't be presumed as being an intention to annoy anyone. But they aren't obliged to say what the reason is.
And I can't say I've ever seen any of the imagery involved in this thread or by the poster concerned (and I'm certainly not asking to see it), so I've only raised the matter as a point of interest (and discussion).

What it is “normally” used for is completely irrelevant.Little Sally wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 10:22 am

I quote: “Requests
Are you missing a specific picture or story, or would you like to ask for custom art. This is the place to ask for this”
There’s no mention of things that have long since disappeared. So anything that no longer exists—like the images in this post—can be requested immediately. If you want to avoid that, you shouldn’t post anything on the internet in the first place!

Re: cage match (SW Nudity)
I'd suggest we've both got differing views about the whole subject, but that's no problem. Discussing differences is healthy and never a waste of time.
Been good to talk.
