Every once in a while I visit this site in search of stories featuring shrunken women and while there are a few gems here and there, I'm consistently taken aback by how much AI writing I need to sift through in the story forums to get to the good stuff. Is this really something to be upheld? I'm not even against AI on principle but to have so much of it flood the forums that would otherwise be filled by human writers is deeply annoying and really kills the experience for me.
If it were up to me, AI writing wouldn't be allowed here at all. I doubt that would happen though, so I instead propose just making a dedicated forum topic specifically for stories generated by AI or with AI assistance.
When people was used to only drawing, they could have the same revolt against blender or poser for doing SW, is not the same, but if you make an effort there is some parallel
AI is a resource and is available to everyone, some love it, some hate it and some don´t care
My threads with AI are always identified with AI and almost everyone does the same in here, so you just need to check the post tittles and not to be sifting...
I was not 100% sure, the skin is too smooth and even, but I also know AI became very good by including skin marks and realistic nuances, so maybe is because I´m using AI a lot and got used to it´s looks
But we all better soon say goodbye to being able to distinguish
Technically no, there is no difference between AI art and AI writing. Their both theft.

Wait, so you're saying that if I start with a picture of myself that was taken by myself, then I altered that picture via AI by myself with my permission with the same scenario if I wrote an original story that was written soley by myself, that would be theft?
You're saying that I stole either or both from myself with my permission because I altered either or both with AI?
Also, in the context that you're using 'their' in, it should read, 'They're (they are) both theft.'

They aren't really "thinking" anything. They just string one word after another to express hatred of whatever they have been programmed to hate.
I was just trying to explain to them, in a nice way, that the statement they've made makes them look like a complete and utter plonker, and that they must have the I.Q and critical thinking and acumen of an asthmatic slug that's trying to cross a four lane motorway in the dark. I didn't want to do that though because I don't know them well enough. But they do seem like a bit of a muppet.
