I just want to get an idea how members here have DA accounts & show their creations, also what style do you prefer? I've been working on a lot of projects & posting AI art & videos on there, I'm really surprise how large & vast the SW community has become. So many different styles & stories, lots of great creativity styles.

Feel free to add me if you haven't be sure share your style.

I don't think it's really gotten larger, but with AI, lurker fans who were unable to create collages or hand drawings themselves are now able to make pictures, so they are posting their stuff now.

I have a DA, but it's not focused on SW.

There's very little SW there. It's more focused on pain, peril, combat with some tentacles sprinkled in there. My favourite thing is wrestling. You can take a look if you're interested. If not (and you're only interested in SW), all my SW stuff I post in the VSW Art subforum. There's stuff I post there and not on my DA

Everything is digital/2D. Some of them may look like pencil sketches, but they are all done on a tablet.

What's funny is that I'm the reverse. I played around a bit with AI, but didn't really like it. AI is kinda what got me to get off my ass, get a tablet and start drawing.

I prefer drawings to AI. If you draw it, or even if you collage it, you OWN it. It's your creation, not a computer following your instructions. It's like you buy an old car, pay someone to restore it and you enter it in a car show vs. you buy an old car, restore it yourself and enter it in a car show. Even if your work is not a good, it's still your work and something to be proud of.

Problem with non-Ai SW art on Deviantart is that it can get randomly reported by people as underage porn and most of the original artists have left the platform.

For example, on my profile which is now called a Studio where I can sell what I uploaded. I only have my SW Commission from Herretik, who is now gone but still a legend in the scene, would never sell them on Devianart. I commissioned them to share with the SW community in 2015 and it still belongs to Herretik in my book, they created it, I just paid for them to do my idea for one of their characters. But their SW classics like the "Shrinking Serum" comic page is superb.

Apologies Prof Sai, I thought I watched your profile years ago, just fixed, great work.

Been in SW-Kingdom for years.

InksGirls is probably my most favourite, great style, most works I like, their SW works are very good. In the last year, they have been producing more SW/BE content. They have had many issues on DeviantArt with their works being censored more harshly compared to other people's content which is more NSFW you could say. I think two years ago their account was suspended 5/6 times, and they posted the reason that Devianart told them, and it was nothing compared to more "pornographic" content on other DeviantArt accounts. Even had issues on Twitter too, same story. It seems sorted now, they became a Core Pro user and it looks like they are uploading all their removed works that DeviantArt said were the reasons for the suspensions. Those removed works back on the platform are unchanged too, but oddly no suspensions as a Core Pro user. I get it though, pay the platform to let you work a little more freely, making them money and you still making a profit on the platform and other platforms you're showing your work too.

In the last decade, a lot of original content creators in SW, and even GTS, have become inactive or just left DeviantArt. Now, I just heard the website has a download limit too since March 2026, 10 downloads a week unless you are on Core, source here on Reddit, and the DeviantArt users are "raging". I have never come close to this limit in years but it just shows DeviantArt is really pushing for more ways to monetise the platform in more ways. I get it, there are costs to run the website, they seem to be scraping the barrel to find more ways to get money from users, kind of like an airline with hidden fees.

At least US & Global copyright laws let the users creating works with DeviantArt's AI model keep the copyright themselves instead of DeviantArt, even though some parts are fuzzy on legal copyright ownership sometimes, like how detailed the prompt is from the user. Basically, the more detailed the prompt, the better the copyright protection, in a way. Still not a fan of Generative-AI for reasons, I won't damn people for it, some people need to make bread from somewhere.

I think the DeviantArt owners don't seem to realise they are not the only platform of its kind out there. Off the top of my head, there's Pixiv or a more related website, Size Booru and I am very likely missing so much more. I feel there are numerous East Asian ones out there, particularly Japanese-based but again, I do not know myself because I have never delved into that area, oddly.
