What got you interested in SW

I dunno. Back in my earliest memories (four or five) I remember cartoon show episodes featuring the characters being shrunk always got my attention the most.

I always loved Alice in Wonderland that really sparked something in me. Same with like Magic School Bus, they had a ton of episodes with shrinking involved.

I didn’t realize it was a fetish til I was on DeviantArt and came across a fanfic of characters shrinking and growing and I realized then how much I really liked it.

If I were to give say anything Triggered me wanting to shrink a Girl, it was multiple things, ranging from, if they were Tall(this eventually stopped mattering), How similair they looked to Barbie, I wanted to shrink every girl in any Anime I watched, or in my earlier 20s I wanted to shrink all Giantesses.

For me, I'm pretty sure it was seeing the original 1933 King Kong when I was really, really young. Also when I was little I was very much aware of the 70's Kong as well, and that had giant fingers undressing a hot chick. That and a ton of King Kong parodies in cartoons.

the episode of Super Friends where Wonder Woman got shrunk

Wonder Woman shrunk in more than one episode of Superfriends. (Though in "Tiny World of Terror", the Superfriends voluntarily shrink themselves (as well as the Batmobile and Wonder Woman's invisible plane) to search for two scientists (one male, one female) who were shrunk and turned loose in a swamp by a rival scientist.)

but if I were to pick the earliest influence, I would have to say it was the Gulliver cartoon in 1968 when I was around 7. Even though I was too young to comprehend relationships or sex, Flirticia drew my attention, and she seemed to have a "fondness" for Gary Gulliver, rather than guys her own size.

What did you think of the episode "The Forbidden Pool", in which Gary Gulliver (and his dog) shrink to the same size as the Lilliputians?

I think a kids variety show called The Banana Bunch introduced this cartoon

The syndicated The Banana Splits and Friends Show, which combined segments from The Banana Splits Adventure Hour ("Arabian Knights", "The Three Musketeers", the shrinking-themed educational segment "Micro Ventures", and the live action serial "Danger Island") with episodes of The Atom Ant Show, The Secret Squirrel Show, The New Adventures of Gulliver, and The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which was a blend of live action and animation.

I primarily meant no longered cared about only Shrinking Tall Girls. Slightly Felt bad about Shrinking Short Women back then. Now all that Matters is if She's Busty and Fit I'll shrink them regardless of if their a Short Stack or Amazon. If she's bigger than Barbie she's gonna become smaller than Barbie... ^^;

For me it was seeing 7th Voyage of Sinbad for the first time. No, you crazy zoomies, I am NOT so old that I saw it in its original release! It was rerun being shown during a Saturday matinee at the base theater, where military parents dumped their kids for a couple hours so they could go do whatever parents do at noon on weekends. (I'd rather not think about that too much, actually...)

Anyway! I was probably twelve and was nibbling popcorn with my friend, eyes glued to the screen, and suddenly Parisa's arm starts dwindling away and I"m like WTF is going on, and my friend says, "Oh, wow, she's SHRINKING...!" And poof, my young pre-fetish brain cells clicked and stuck together, and that's it, a lifelong obsession was born!

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad was definitely re-released to theaters sometime in the 1970's. I remember seeing a TV commercial for it. The commercial showed the shrunken princess close to the beginning of it, from this scene:



I really wanted to see that movie. But at that age, I didn't pick what movies I saw in theaters. They were picked for me. (So I also didn't get to see re-releases of A Boy Named Charlie Brown and Snoopy Come Home, which I also saw TV commercials for. Though according to my baby book, the original release of Snoopy Come Home was the first movie that I saw in a theater. I have no memory of it.) So I didn't get to see The 7th Voyage of Sinbad until after Turner Classic Movies was added to our cable TV lineup in the fall of 1997, and it was in the 21st century.

And I remember my mom dumping me and one of my sisters at the Brandon Twin theater a couple of times to get us out of the house for a while, though it was after my parents divorced. It was probably to have a tryst with a member of my dad's side of the family, which had started while my parents were still married. The first time, it was the first Star Trek movie, which I had utterly no interest in. The second time, it was Clash of the Titans. I told my mom that I didn't want to see it. But she got mad, so I had to go. (But at least I liked that movie, which also had special effects by Ray Harryhausen.)

I just discovered the new Polly Pocket cartoon recently, (love it, btw) and all I know is that it’s going to create an entirely new generation of size fetish people.

That show is certainly interesting, and I have personally always had a fascination with being played with like a doll, which might be another explanation of why I love gts content haha

Years ago, I saw a Polly Pocket commercial in which two live action girls shrink to the size of the Polly Pocket dolls/figures, then they shrink a second time, so they're now "pocket-sized" to the Polly Pocket dolls/figures. But I can't find it on YouTube. I did find this:

Probably it was Alice in Wonderland for me, the book version. Although another possibility does come to mind: Danny Dunn and the Smallifying Machine.

I also read Alice in Wonderland, which was part of a series called "Great Books". It included the illustrations. There's a scene in the original Disney movie in which Alice eats a mushroom, then grows to giant size, shooting up into a tree. A bird in the tree thinks that Alice is a snake. That made no sense to me. In the book, after Alice eats a mushroom, it makes her neck grow longer, so that her head shoots up into a tree. That's why the bird thought that Alice was a snake.

I checked Danny Dunn and the Smallifying Machine out of the library in the 1970's. (I also checked out other books in the series, like Danny Dunn, Invisible Boy and the one in which Danny Dunn and his friends stay in a "house of the future", so as not to "draw suspicion".) I remember that Danny and his friends stepped through a doorway, and thought that it was a portal to another world, because they were now surrounded by huge boulders. Of course, they shrunk, and the "boulders" were actually specks of dust.

I was an avid Marvel Comics fan when I was a kid. I had a big time crush on the Wasp as a preteen. I don't know if she *caused* my SW fetish, but that was around the first time I really took notice of it.

I remember in my pre-kindergarten, daycare days, the woman babysitting me would put this on like everyday so she could sit outside and avoid us kids .

I watched Dot and Keeto on the Disney Channel in the late 1980's. It was part of a series of "Dot" movies that included Dot and the Kangaroo, Dot and the Koala, and Dot and the Whale. (But I didn't watch any of the other ones.)

For me I believe I got into shrinking women from those created scenes on older shows like what you would see on the CW. Scenes like this one from reaper I found were imaginative:

For me it was more the process of shrinking the woman down that was enticing. She did not need to be shrunk and made naked. Shrinking her using a bubble blower was definitely a unique take.

For me it was all the "King Kong" spinoffs of various cartoons, where April O'Neil or Janine Melnitz or Lois Lane or any other heroine would play out the Fay Wray character to whatever Kong spoof was rampaging through the episode. This only made me desperate to see the real King Kong, then Kong 76, and everything handheld. Gotta be fists, though. Palm holds are a tease. There's just something about seeing a hot woman struggling in an oversized grip.
