Those witches melting into bridal gowns / white cloaks clips must do well on there.

Yes I asked them to buy the outfit pieces, and also asked to make a cardboard mat with a hole to make the effect better. Perhaps you can request her “Always Audrey” to do more similar commissions

Sounds cool, but I still prefer to order from Seductive Studios since they have better dresses. What is the brand of that veil by the way? I tried to search it online but I didn't find the same one or others that are similar to it.

Unfortunately, the struggling under the dress part from their past videos do not really satisfy my requirements, so I may not send commissions to them. Also, are you the one who commissioned New Veil Melting Bride Luna Lain? That one is really good and I want to do a similar commission in the future.

Admittedly, I think of this scene more than I should. Probably because seeing it on a rerun in 1999 ignited my SW thoughts as an adult.
But, I always wondered about her scream. Did she scream because she knew that amount of the stuff getting on her meant she was doomed to shrink to "nothing." Or, did she scream just at the idea of shrinking, with the possibility of not being restored?

I think only we in the SW community know how crazy that truly is but yeah that scream was sheer terrorSdk3 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 6:27 pmAdmittedly, I think of this scene more than I should. Probably because seeing it on a rerun in 1999 ignited my SW thoughts as an adult.

That's why I suspect it was the former. She even foreshadowed it saying "maybe Clark shrank away to nothing." I think she knew she was done.blackbat wrote: ↑Sat Jan 17, 2026 1:03 amI think only we in the SW community know how crazy that truly is but yeah that scream was sheer terrorSdk3 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 6:27 pmAdmittedly, I think of this scene more than I should. I still think winding up between 4-6" would've been a more fitting fate, getting to experience what she put her victims through.

Re: Any good new "vanish out of clothes" scenes?
Thinking about and being a DC Comics fan, it kinda weird this didn't happen from a classic DC Comic theme.
A quick reminder of 1994/5 when this episode was likely written. In the DC Comics universe, it was the aftermath of Batman's Knightfall; where Bane broke his back, a massive Zero Hour storyline; where out of grief, Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, becomes a supervillain with the power to rewrite the entire DC timeline, trial of Superman, and much more. This was part of the "Dark Age" in DC Comics that started in the early 90s of darker, more violent, and anti-hero-focused stories, heavily influenced by the rise of Image Comics.
So the ending of where she screamed because she knew that the amount of the stuff getting on her meant she was doomed to shrink to "nothing." was most likely the intention. The Lois & Clark series was not entirely happy, some dark subjects in that series like when the guy accidentally got Superman's powers and charged people to be rescued. At the beginning of the episode, he was talking to his dead mother in a cemetery, confessing that he feels worthless since he cannot financially support his institutionalised sister, so he was gonna commit suicide by shooting himself with a gun then & there.

Re: Any good new "vanish out of clothes" scenes?
Fun fact, that episode ("It's a Small World After All") was (partially) written by Teri Hatcher, who played Lois Lane in the show. I remember watching one of the late night talk shows at the time and she was on and talked about how she'd written it, and she described the plot device as a shampoo that makes people shrink. I didn't watch Lois & Clark at the time so I would never have known about it if I hadn't been watching late night TV at the time. Of course I immediately slapped a blank tape in my VCR and set a timer (anybody remember VCRs...? LOL) and then spent the rest of the weak dreaming about beautiful Teri Hatcher shrinking on camera. And of course once again I was sorely disappointed. I deleted the tape in disgust. They did the same thing to me with that episode of "The Charmings." Sigh..well at least we'll always have Alyssa Milano...

The one SW in the episode was cute, but she'd already been shrunk when the episode began. So, we didn't get to see her shrink out of her clothes.Dr.Minimizer wrote: ↑Sat Jan 17, 2026 6:30 amFun fact, that episode ("It's a Small World After All") was (partially) written by Teri Hatcher, who played Lois Lane in the show. Re: Any good new "vanish out of clothes" scenes?
I found out about that episode from an article in TV Guide about Teri Hatcher's "screenwriting debut". (But the article didn't mention her having a co-writer.) That was a show that I didn't watch, so I couldn't watch it in front of my family. I had to wait until it was on TNT, and I only caught part of that episode, I think starting about when Lois discovers that Clark has been shrunk. ("Look at me! I look like Mighty Mouse!") I guess I didn't miss much. (Maybe Teri Hatcher has a GTS/SM fetish?)Dr.Minimizer wrote: ↑Sat Jan 17, 2026 6:30 amFun fact, that episode ("It's a Small World After All") was (partially) written by Teri Hatcher, who played Lois Lane in the show. It's too bad that they couldn't do shrinking on Desperate Housewives. I would have love to have seen Susan (Teri Hatcher's character) shrink Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) and torture her, for all of the trouble she caused everyone. (At least Edie was killed in a plane crash, before anyone else could do it. Bree: "Edie, if you tell that to Lynnette, I will wring your neck!" Susan: "And I'll help!")
I did watch that episode of The Charmings. ("Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, Fred and Wilma Flintstone, Barney and Betty Rubble.") At least the female neighbor mentioned her clothes and shoes feeling looser after she tried the "reducing formula". Too bad she didn't drink more of it.
(And I still use a VCR to record The Simpsons.)
