Thoughts on Really Tiny Sizes?

I've been getting back into the story game as of late, and have found a surprising love of really tiny sizes for ladies.
I'm wondering, what's the community's opinion on SWs ranging from 1 inch to 1 mm? Obviously, it's not optimal for a lot of the more common tropes in the size game, most handhelds and fondling is completely different in this context, but I find it excels in a more psychological context. Power dynamics are much more fun to subvert, imagine an overbearing boss or bratty college girl suddenly being reduced to the size of an ant and forced to reconcile with the knowledge that she might not ever be seen as human again. Or, in a more gentle context, imagine a man caring for his girlfriend, who stands just shy of a centimeter tall, and the emotional strain that comes from treating this thing, barely recognizable as human, as a being with just as much worth or rights as himself.
Or imagine picking up a tiny out of a bored curiousity, and realizing with a start that it's really a human woman, yelling up at you in a near-indistinguishable squeak. You're now faced with a decision to care for the creature that stands barely bigger than a grain of rice, or treat it like the bug the world will regard it as.
I don't know, I get it's more of a niche interest in the community, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Imagine being so small a finger print is like an enormous canyon... or that pubes are like a gigantic forest, or they sperm are the size of dogs?

For Micro and Nano, there is an exteme power dynamic and it's an existential one. A giggle could sound like the end of the world. Someone might blink and create a hurricane that sends you tumbling miles through the air.

A person that small can be right in the room with you but they might as well be on another planet. The fear and isolation from being that small is horrifying to comprehend.

Micros don't really do anything for me. It just seems like boredom and despair, and being utterly dependant on someone for whom you can do nothing but depress them with your agony. I suppose if it was only temporary, or if you were there with someone else your size there would be something to it. But on it's own, it is just sad.

Have to agree with the professor. There couldn't be any real interaction with "bigs". "Honey, I shrunk the kids" had the kids at 1/4 inch tall. As for me, no smaller than 3 inches, no bigger than 7 inches, with 5 inches being the optimum. I like to interact with my tiny ladies or as James said in The Borrowers 2011 "What would be the point?"

There's a micro in this pretty light-hearted (don't let the title and illustration fool you) pulp magazine story. Not too exciting since it's told from the point of view of the (typical for the time) square-jawed hero, when the SW has to be a million times more interesting. Nice premise still.

As someone who identifies more with the "woman" part of the shrunken woman fantasy, the idea of being so small that you're visually insignificant is a major turn off. As for being microscopic, I find that ridiculous to be perfectly honest.

I mean, where's the fun in this fantasy if you can't interact with the subject properly as a human being. And of course I mean taking hold of her physically with your hand (or hands) and actually speaking to her. I'm just not interested in reducing her down to sizes where this is impossible, just for the sake of making some weird psychological point. I don't see why that would be attractive to a man either, but as we all know, it's each to their own as it always has been.

Interactions and the abject misery of the size seem to be the most common complaints people have for the size range. I understand but disagree. All of those bugs are easily features.

Communication can be tricky but not impossible down to a certain point without tech. But this can be overcome with stuff like phone apps and other communication devices. This also assumes communication is vital. In certain cases it might be more interesting that there is no communication. The story may wish to explore trying to be found and saved. Or maybe communication isn't vital and the shrinkie's just having a ball exploring the body of her partner who is casually keeping tabs on her while she has fun.

The misery might also be a focus. Or the helplessness or the thrill of knowing you could be swept away by a drop of sweat or walk for days and effectively be exactly where you started from.

But another idea is the sublime sensation of surrender. If shrinking is a representation of a loss of self of inhibitions then getting extremely small can be a truly sublime way to surrender yourself to the situation.

On the other hand, I just think it's hot watching a girl shrink smaller and smaller until she finally becomes too small to be seen. Maybe she's having a great time shrinking and getting off. Maybe she's pleading for the shrinking to stop. Maybe both? It's all fantasy!

My preference is for woman ranging anywhere from six inches to two feet tall. First, we can interact in a variety of ways, we can have more meaningful conversations ... and I'd be able to admire her beautiful tiny body (clothed or unclothed). Once she gets smaller than six inches, it just seems the interaction goes down to (1) Where are you? (2) Whoops, don't want to step on you? and (3) Be careful, you're too small!

(Yawn) ... Although, since I admire super-hero women, this could be fun — suppose the lady shrinks to 1 inch or 1 MM ...but THEN, she returns to twelve or twenty-four inches tall within a few seconds, and her rapid growth gives her temporary super-strength, enough to give a 12-FOOT TALL WALLOP to the guy (or gal) unfortunate enough to torment her while she feared shrinking into nothingness.

DOLL-SIZE, 12 inches tall ... and temporarily imbued with enough strength to ... to ... POW! "How do ya like them apples??" she asks as the tormentor flies across the room. That hole in the wall is gonna come right out of her security deposit ... but oh, so worth it!

I Love 5 to 7 inches, ideally 6 inches, no smaller than 5... 1/4 or even 1/2 sounds interesting, but regarding small, no less than 5 inches, the perfect balance between power, control and playfulness...

I think too small they loose their handling magic and interaction possibilities, how do you caress a shoulder differently than you caress a belly or a breast, when they are so small you can´t separate those...

How do you strip their clothes, little by little or kiss their tiny faces when you can´t even distinguish their micro facial features ?

Very lucky man! Does she go micro because she enjoys it or for your preferences? Maybe we should hear from a girl who goes micro why she likes it.
