Kathleen’s Little Secrets

Before her intro to tabletop gaming (and specifically “the transfer”), Kathleen had not had any real friends. She just had certain people she associated with during certain timeframes.

Now she had two groups of friends.

She had Henri, James, Rick and Tomas, her fellow gamers and…whatever you call guys you let pleasure your shrunken body…and then she had Himari, Zahra and Kalani, the three young women she took MMA classes with.

She also had the cheerleading crowd at school, but even with her recent emotional evolution, she didn’t consider any members of that crowd her friends.

What Kathleen really wanted was Himari, Zahra and Kalani to be on the cheerleading squad with her, but that was easier said than done. Kathleen considered all three of her friends exotically beautiful, and much more attractive than any of the cheerleaders presently on the squad. Plus, all three of her friends were fantastic gymnasts and in excellent shape. But the cheerleading selection process was rigged against newcomers. Cheerleading camp was held before tryouts, with only cheerleaders currently on the squad invited to go to camp. The judges for tryouts didn’t even include the coach. It was made up of cheerleader Moms. It was a clique that kept its circle closed to outsiders.

The four young women were having a sleepover at Kathleen’s house. This thrilled Kathleen’s parents to no end, who had been worried about their daughter keeping everyone at a distance.

Kathleen was telling the other girls that once she got back from camp, she’d go over the routines with them. She also told them that her mother already had a plan to bring in outside, impartial judges, and was willing to take legal action if necessary.

“And,” Kathleen said with a grin, “I’m going to enroll all of you in my MMA master class.”

Will her transfer powers expand the mind boggles

The guys played exactly one game in Kathleen’s absence, but it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t just the lack of “tiny Kathleen fun time,” although that was a big part of it. Even before Kathleen had gained the ability to transfer into her miniature, Kathleen had become the de facto leader of the adventuring party. Her insightful and innovative problem solving skills had made the party successful, and made it a pleasure for James to gamemaster their adventures.

So the guys were all excited (for multiple reasons) to see Kathleen on Saturday night, right after she got back from Cheerleader camp. It was going to be their last chance to play for another week. Henri was going to Linguistics camp, Rick was going to Mathematics class and Tomas was going to Chess camp.

After hugs all around, with Kathleen assuring the guys she had missed them too, the guys were ready to settle in for a gaming night.

They were immediately disappointed when Kathleen didn’t want to transfer to her miniature.

“It’s not that I don’t want to,” Kathleen told the guys. “I love adventuring as my miniature…and the stuff we do at the end,” she added, her cheeks turning red. “But I pulled something right here this week” —- Kathleen rubbed her left trapezius —- “and I don’t know how that will translate when I translate.”

“Let me try,” Tomas said. Before Kathleen could respond, Tomas was standing behind her. He immediately began kneading Kathleen’s shoulders.

“That feels wonderful,” Kathleen moaned as Tomas dug in with his thumbs. The other guys stopped what they were doing to watch Tomas massage Kathleen.

After a few minutes, Tomas’s fingertips slipped just inside Kathleen’s T-shirt. Kathleen placed her hands on top of his to stop any further “downward” progress.

“As much as I’ve missed your guys touches, and have been thinking about full sized touches,” Kathleen admitted, “James’s mother is upstairs. It’s one thing to hide us all having fun when I’m tiny. I just have to transfer back to my full-sized body. It would be another thing if James’s mother walked in to see her son and all his friends feeling me up.”

Kathleen stood up and rolled her shoulders. “That feels so much better, Tomas.” She smiled and gave Tomas a kiss on the tip of his nose. “Now let’s get some adventuring done.”

The guys were al in a good mood. They had their adventuring leader back, and they had “tiny Kathleen fun time” to look forward to at the end of the night. But Kathleen seemed to have indicated she would not be adverse to a little “full-sized fun.”

After all the guys (save James) had gone off to their respective camps for the week, Kathleen invited Himari, Zahra and Kalani to spend the week with her.

Part of the week was spent with Kathleen teaching the other girls the routines she had learned at cheerleading camp. A good deal of time was spent with a professional cheerleader coach (hired by Kathleen’s mother) working with the four girls. After conferring with the coach, Kathleen’s mother agreed to push the school board to bring in outside, Independent judges for the tryouts. Kathleen’s mother was going to let the school board know she was ready to bring legal action to bear if the school board tried to balk.

Then Thursday, Kathleen told the girls it was time for her “Master MMA” class. She was going to reveal the secret of her new found abilities.

It started with Kathleen getting the girls to…wear costumes?

Surprisingly, it was the more brash Zahra, and not the shy Himari, who was hesitant about putting on the costumes. Himari was only worried about all the photos Kathleen was taking iof them. Kathleen assured her friend none of the pictures were going to end up online. All the photos were going to be fed into the 3D printer to create half foot tall miniatures of the costumed girls. Kathleen provided her three friends with her own miniature, as an example of what the end product would look like.

The girls were understandably puzzled. “How does this tie in with your ‘Master MMA’ class again?”

Kathleen just grinned. “Don’t worry. All will be revealed.

While Kathleen fed the pictures of her three friends into the 3D printer, she and her friends changed back into their normal clothes.

“So what does any of this have to do with your ‘Master MMA’ class?” Himari asked as she shook out her long hair.

“A little patience,” Kathleen replied with an excited laugh.

Kathleen’s friends were getting a little impatient with their friend, and more than a little confused. They could see no rhyme or reason behind the things Kathleen was having them do. That didn’t stop them from going along with Kathleen, at least for now.

Truth be told, the girls loved the Kathleen who had come into existence at the beginning of summer. That Kathleen had done the impossible: opened up the cheerleading squad for real competition. So the three young women were willing to give Kathleen a lot of leeway.

When the miniatures were printed out, the girls “oohed” and “aahed” appropriately. It made them think of those programs that would convert a regular photo into a classical or fantasy portrait.

“So what do we do now?” Zahra asked.

Truthfully, Kathleen was operating on pure guesswork here. But she thought she had deciphered the “logic” of the jade tiger. She lined up the miniatures in a row on the basement table, and had all the girls gather ‘round her. Having them place a hand on her. She told each of the girls to focus on her miniature. Kathleen then gripped the jade tiger in her hand and focused on her own miniature.

In the blink of an eye, Kathleen found herself transferred into her miniature, as she had a dozen times before. Around Kathleen, the miniatures of her friends were starting to move around.

Hirami, Zahra and Kalani reacted in the fashion you would expect any young woman who finds herself in a costume looking out at a gigantic world.

They freaked out.

In the blink of an eye, all four girls were back to normal.

“What…what just happened?” Zahra asked hesitantly.

Kathleen explained to her disbelieving friends what had just happened. They knew it had to be some kind of hypnotic trick. The four of them couldn’t have just transformed into half foot tall versions of themselves.

Could they?

“Let’s assume for the sake of argument that we actually turned into those,” Kalani began, gesturing at the miniatures. “What could we get out of that?”

Kathleen began telling them what it was like, being tiny. How you could move and fight as if you were a character out of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” And then she told them what it was like afterwards, when you were full-sized.

“It’s like you’re always fully rested, fully charged, ready to go, and your reflexes are always super sharp.”

“But aren’t you worried about getting stuck, being tiny?” Himari asked.

“That won’t be a problem,” Kathleen told the girls, hoping she was right.

The girls experimented with the jade tiger. They discovered that when all four of them were in the room, that they were either all transferred to their miniatures, or all stayed their normal size. It was an either/or situation. They also discovered that even if one of them wanted to break off the transfer, all four became normal sized.

After Kathleen’s friends became comfortable with the transfer process, they stayed in their miniature forms for the rest of the afternoon, discovering what life was like as a character in a Wuxia movie.

The four young women spent most of the day enjoying being miniaturized martial artists, before Kathleen convinced them to try their martial art skills in their normal sized bodies. The four women found that, although they couldn’t fight and run in the treetops at normal size, their fighting skills and reactions definitely felt optimized. Everything they did felt like it was being done on their best day ever.

That night, when the four women were in their sleepwear, gathered in Kathleen’s bedroom, she began telling them about her other shrunken experiences.

“I’ve touched myself before,” Kathleen admitted, her face a beet red, “But this was like way, way better.”

To say that Kathleen’s friends were floored by her confession would have been an understatement. The young women were all silent before Kalani broached the question, “But those guys?”

“They’re not bad looking,” Kathleen began, “They’re real gentle, and they’re not like the guys who play sports.”

“That’s true,” Zahra snorted. “Those guys would be bragging about it, posting pictures, and wouldn’t care if you enjoyed yourself or not.”

Kathleen’s friends had all been approached by the school’s student athletes. But the guys who wanted to date them were more interested in “exotic conquests” than dating the girl for who she was.

“And besides,” Kalani laughed, “Nerds don’t have to be convinced you can kick their asses like jocks would have to be.”

Quiet little Himari shocked the other girls when she piped in, “I’d might be willing to try it, if you three were there with me.”

After a couple of minutes of stunned silence, the girls entered a frank discussion of the possibilities and mechanics of shrunken sex.

The best sort of chats

It was a Saturday afternoon, and the rest of the guys were due to get back in. In the mind of James’ mother, the rest of the guys were already home, and James and the rest of the guys were going to spend the night at Rick’s.

James’ mother thought the world of Kathleen, and was happy Kathleen was in her son’s life. But James’ mother would not have approved of her eighteen year old son spending the night with an eighteen year old girl, not matter how innocent the circumstances.

And when Kathleen transferred to her half foot miniature, circumstances were never innocent.

James wasn’t sure what was going to happen. Kathleen’s parents were gone for a week, so it was just him and her in the house. He was hoping to be able to play with Kathleen in her miniaturized form. But the pair had been spending the afternoon printing out figurines for when the tabletop campaign resumed next week. Kathleen hadn’t indicated that she had any interest in “miniaturized adventuring,” and James thought it best not to push the issue.

James and Kathleen had just finished printing out the last of the miniatures. James was going to ask Kathleen what she wanted to do for supper when she pulled out her miniature and asked, “So how would you feel about some one-on-one adventuring?”
