Today was K-Day.

June Robinson was the last woman in the world you would think would embrace her inner black and white TV Mom. Seven years ago, she had been a twenty-six year old glamour model who worked the car and boat expo circuit. That’s when she had met her ex-husband, Mike Robinson.

Mike was a multimillionaire originally looking for a little something on the side. Her professional attire not withstanding, June wasn’t going to jump in the sack with Mike after a couple of drinks and some cheap jewelry.

It wasn’t exactly a whirlwind romance, but June was soon wife number four.

June quickly settled into the role of traditional housewife. This included being a parent to a then eleven year old Kevin, Mike’s son from wife number two. Truth be told, June was a better parent to her stepson than his father or his biological mother had ever been.

Mike had no problems with June wanting to emulate the TV mothers of more than a half century ago, as long as she understood his needs always came first.

Mike soon learned his needs didn’t always come first. Within a couple of years, Mike was working on wife number five.

June was left with a hefty divorce settlement. She also kept custody of Kevin (de facto, if not de jure), with the silent blessing of Kevin’s biological parents, who only wanted Kevin around to trot out on special occasions.

June happily threw herself into the role of supportive mother. Unbeknownst to her, she was also known as a MILF. THE MILF, against whom other MILFs were judged and found wanting.

It was not long after Kevin’s eighteenth birthday that Karen declared a particular Friday as K-Day. The day she was going to enter the “No Mom Zone” that was Kevin’s room and give it the cleaning that it required.

June wasn’t trying to look hot, though. With her hair tucked away in her scarf and latex cleaning gloves pulled on tightly, she was ready to get down to cleaning.

As June walked into her stepson’s room, she looked with disapproval at the AI-generated image of a busty, topless elf maiden over Kevin’s bed. June reminded herself that this was Kevin’s bedroom, and he should be granted some leeway on how the walls were decorated.

June would have been shocked and less than pleased if she knew that her stepson had glamour photos of her on his laptop.

June pulled the vacuum cleaner over to a table on which Kevin had a lot of his gaming paraphernalia, including the figurine of another busty, scantily clad elf maiden. June just ignored it all, instead kneeling down to plug in her vacuum cleaner.

In the process, June knocked a pair of dice off the table.

The dice were red, translucent and ten-sided. They didn’t look like normal dice, but then Kevin had all sorts of odd-looking dice. June picked the dice off the floor and gave them a cavalier toss back on the table. She then turned her attention back to her vacuum cleaner.

She never noticed the dice briefly glow as one came up on a “1,” while the other came up a “6.”

If June had slowly shrunk, or instantly shrunk, things might have been different. Not necessarily better, but different.

But June had shrunk rapidly, and perhaps that had prepared her better for what was to come.

As June began shrinking, it felt to her as if she was hovering right above the floor. The process meant that June not only grew out of her clothes, they flew off of her. Her stumbling combined with her flying clothes sent the vacuum on its side, turning it on.

A nude, five and a half inch tall June felt herself being inexorably suctioned into the now gigantic vacuum cleaner.

It was by pure chance that June got tangled in the vacuum’s power cord, thus saving her from a miniaturized demise. Somehow, June had the presence of mind to devise a plan. She pulled herself hand over hand toward the outlet in the wall. When she got close enough, June was able to rock the power cord out of the socket, turning the vacuum off.

June took a couple of minutes to catch her breath before deciding what to do next.

As June took stock of her situation, the casual observer would definitely be taking stock of her. The diminutive housewife was just as fit now as she was back in the day when she was a model at boat and car expos. Granted, she trimmed “down there” these days, rather than shaved. And her long hair, reaching past the middle of her back, was more frizzy than wavy right now (though the latter state was probably due to her prolonged encounter with the super-sized vacuum cleaner). Otherwise, June still possessed the slender form with definite feminine curves that had gotten her the position of wife number four seven years ago.

It was definitely a shame that, until now, June hadn’t been nude for three years, except during the shower, bath and annual doctor’s examination.

After catching her breath, June decided she needed to get off the floor. So she decided to ascend the table on which her eighteen year old stepson kept all his dungeon mastering paraphernalia on. Besides, some niggling instinct in the back of her head was telling her the answer to her situation was up on top of that table.

June scrambled up the base of the vacuum cleaner, then wrapped her arms and legs around the table leg and began shimmying up. June was halfway up the leg when she slipped a body length. Fortunately, she caught herself in time. A look down made her momentarily second guess her decision to climb the table. But she told herself it was too late to change her mind now.

Finally, June got to the top of the table. The first sight she was confronted with was a busty elf maiden figurine, the same size as June, clad in a fur bikini.

If I get back to normal size, June thought to herself, I’m going to have a talk with Kevin about some of his “artwork.”

June mentally forced herself to think ‘when’ she got back to normal size, not ‘if.’

Now that June was on top of the desk, she wasn’t sure what to do next. She casually looked around the desk until her eyes locked on a line on the dungeon master screen that Kevin had set up on the table.

Under a table headed “Saving Throws,” there was a line that read “Versus Shrinking — 17.”

June saw the two ten-sided dice she had casually thrown on the desk earlier. One had rolled a ‘1’, the other a ‘6’.

Surely not, June thought to herself.

June picked up the dice, holding them to her breasts. The cool dice felt more like quartz, rather than plastic.

June tossed the dice. One came up a ‘3’, the other a ‘4.’ And…

Nothing happened.

June rolled the dice a few more times, but each time with the same negative results. June remained shrunken.

June wasn’t sure what she was going to do next, but she knew what she wasn’t going to do. She wasn’t going to traipsing around the house tiny AND nude. So June went over to the elf maiden figurine and began removing the latter’s fur bikini.

As June donned the fur bikini the figurine had been wearing, there were a number of things she was thankful for.

The first was that the bikini was just her size. The second was that the bikini material was soft and not scratchy against her private parts. The third thing she was thankful about was that the figurine she had just stripped wasn’t anatomically correct.

June probably wouldn’t appreciate why the figurine shared her proportions. Both the figurine and the poster over Kevin’s bed were the same AI generated image, the same AI image that was based on photos of June from her expo days. So every time Kevin looked at the poster or the figurine and indulging in a little self-pleasure, he was thinking about his stepmother.

Recently, Kevin had been venturing into the realm of microphilia. So when he handled the figurine, he was wondering what it would be like to handle his stepmother at a shrunken size.

Kevin wasn’t responsible for his stepmother’s current shrunken state. But he probably wouldn’t object to a little first hand experience with a shrunken June either.

It was with a sense of dread and trepidation that Kevin climbed the stairs to his bedroom.

It should be noted that Kevin loved his stepmother. Point of fact, Kevin called June “Mom” anytime that his biological parents weren’t around (which was most of the time).

Granted, Kevin’s feelings toward June had recently crossed into the Oedipal, but he still loved her.

It didn’t mean Kevin loved everything June did.

Take today, for example. June had told Kevin that she was going to clean his bedroom. Kevin took this to mean that anything that June encountered that she didn’t like was going into the trash.

As Kevin opened the door to his bedroom, he had visions of his bedroom being stripped down to just the furniture.

Kevin sighed in relief when he opened his door and didn’t see anything obviously missing.

He did see his barbarian elfmaiden figurine had been moved on his dungeon prep table, but that was about it.

Kevin did a double take when he saw the figurine move. And the figurine wasn’t the one that he had left on the table that morning. It was wearing the same fur bikini, but this miniature figurine looked more like his…

“Mom?” Kevin asked incredulously.

It is to Kevin’s credit that the first words out of his mouth (after “Mom?”) weren’t “What happened?” Kevin had seen and read enough shrunken women fiction to know that his stepmother had been shrunken down to roughly half a foot in size. So there were a number of thoughts in Kevin’s brain competing for the opportunity to be vocalized, but “What happened?” Was not one of them.

Kevin had had a number of fantasies about what he would like to do with his shrunken stepmother, but that’s precisely what they were: fantasies. In his wildest dreams, Kevin never expected to stumble upon his stepmother just a few inches tall, wearing only a fur bikini.

The sight of something so out of kilter with reality was making Kevin’s feet want to stay in place, or even flee the room. But seeing one of his sexual imaginings of June realized, coupled with June’s underwear strewn on his bedroom floor and so much of her skin on display, was causing Kevin’s feet to slowly inch toward his tiny stepmother.

As for June, she hadn’t worn anything as skimpy as the fur bikini she had on right now since her expo days. When she got married, the only time she wore anything risqué was in the bedroom. And, since her husband had divorced her, she didn’t even reveal that much skin in the bedroom anymore.

So as Kevin cautiously approached her, June was acutely aware of both their size disparity and how much of her body was on display.

A small part of June (no pun intended) did not find her present situation unappealing.

As shrunken stepmother and slowly approaching stepson eyed each other, June blurted out, “I think it was your red dice that did this to me.”

Kevin’s eyes immediately darted to the two red crystal ten-sided dice on his dungeon prep table. “The Dice of Geas,” he intoned.

But then again, shrinking to roughly half a foot in height wasn’t something that was reality based either. And for some reason, the odd name “Dice of Geas” let June focus her thoughts.

“The Dice of Geas?” June repeated.

“Geas was a company that made novelty gaming equipment, like dice made from quartz crystal. I bought my dice at a garage sale, but never really use them. They’re kind of lopsided,” Kevin explained. “But I don’t see how they could have caused…” Kevin left unspoken June’s shrunken stature.

So June recapped to Kevin everything that happened to her, including knocking the dice off his table and then tossing/rolling them on the table afterwards.

“I don’t know how,” June concluded, “But I know those dice had something to do with me being…well, this size. When I saw that table on your chart, with different saving throws, I rolled the dice again, thinking it would reverse things, but it didn’t.”

Kevin was momentarily distracted with images of his stepmother running around his bedroom tiny and nude, but forced them out of his mind.

Kevin stared at the two crystal dice lying on the table near June. He has rolled them on more than one occasion, but never with literally reality changing results. Trying to appear more confident than he felt, Kevin rolled the dice.

He got a pair of fours, but nothing happened.

Kevin rolled them a few more times, with the same negative results.

“I know they had something to do with me being this way,” June insisted, almost in tears.

“Maybe we can find something on the internet,” Kevin suggested.

Kevin got his laptop and brought it over to his shrunken stepmother (while first making sure that he didn’t have any open files that June didn’t need to see).

Kevin was also careful what terms to enter into the search engine. Having gotten into microphilia, there were some sites he didn’t want his stepmother to see in her present mental state.

Instead, he entered the words Geas, Dice, Magical and Transformation.

The results he and June got shocked them both.

According to rpg urban legends dot com, more than a few people had been magically transformed by a roll of the dice. Usually, the transformation was directly related to something going on in the transformed’s life.

“Mom, who’s been making you feel small?” Kevin asked, before answering his own question. “It’s my father, isn’t it?”

Even in her present state, June had enough presence of mind to keep her personal promise to never bad talk her ex-husband in front of her stepson. So she remained silent.

But there was no love lost between Kevin and his father. Kevin interpreted June’s silence correctly.

According to the website, the transformation could be reversed by an action directly related to the problem that caused the problem.

“I’ll be right back, Mom,” Kevin told June. “I got an idea.”

All things considered, June thought her stepson was handling her shrunken status very well.

Granted, he wasn’t the one who was shrunk. But he wasn’t freaking out either. He was acting pretty rational, and coming up with a possible solution to an unrealistic problem.

June found her stepson’s attitude very comforting. And maybe a couple of other things she wouldn’t acknowledge, not even to herself.

When Kevin came back, he was carrying a picture of his father in his hand. June gave her stepson a quizzical look.

“I’ve got an idea,” Kevin told her. He taped the picture between two of his gaming screens. He then handed his stepmother a miniature sword.

“My father is the one who’s been making you feel small,” Kevin explained. “This is your chance to hit back at him symbolically.”

A dubious June took the sword and swung at the picture. The blow glanced off the photograph.

“C’mon, Mom, hit it with everything you’ve got pent up,” Kevin urged.

June thrust the sword through the picture. The next thing she knew, all the resentment she had been pushing down came bubbling up to the surface. She hacked and slashed the photo of her ex-husband in no time.

In response to her actions, one of dice started glowing.

Kevin and June stared at the dice before Kevin said, “I’m not sure what to do now.”

June took a deep breath before she said, “I have an idea.”

When June first started dating Kevin’s father, she made sure that her ex-husband was officially separated from wife number three. She didn’t become intimate with her ex-husband until he was officially divorced.

June had been determined that she wasn’t going to be THE OTHER WOMAN.

When June got married, she threw herself into the role of housewife and stepmother. It was the latter role that caused the rift between June and her ex-husband. Kevin’s father saw Kevin as a problem that he wanted to throw money at and make it go away. Or better yet, a problem that would just go away without having to throw money at it.

Kevin’s biological mother wasn’t much better.

Kevin soaked up June’s maternal affection like a sponge. His father resented the fact that he wasn’t the sole center of June’s universe. June was floored that her ex-husband has no desire to be a real father.

Her ex-husband was cheating on her in no time. Apparently, he didn’t feel the need to extend the courtesy June had extended to his third wife.

June suspected she needed to work through her resentment of her husband’s sexual escapades to get the second die to light up. And right now, there was only one “avenue” to work through that resentment.

It was safe to say June had definite mixed feelings about that fact.

The two may not be blood relations, but June had been more of a parental figure than any other person in Kevin’s life. The bond between the two was solid.

In the last couple of years, Kevin had been paying June a level of attention beyond that which a dutiful son would normally pay his mother. So Kevin’s “cooperation” in June’s idea for “de-shrinking” herself was a given.

June, on the other hand, was having a big problem convincing herself of the necessity of what she was planning. She kept telling herself that it was okay, that she really wasn’t related to Kevin, and she really didn’t have a choice.

The fact that her shrunken body was getting aroused at the thought a sexual encounter with her stepson was helping her sell her decision to herself.

June took a deep breath and told Kevin that she had an idea. Then she began removing her bra.

Kevin did as instructed. A few minutes later June joined him. She had changed into short gym shorts and a loose fitting T-shirt. It was obvious that June wasn’t wearing a bra underneath her shirt by the movement of her breasts and the outline of her hard nipples poking through her T-shirt.

June was being cheerful over supper, asking Kevin how his day was, and what his plans were this weekend.

“I’m glad you brought that up,” June answered. “I never got a chance to clean your room. If you’ll put the vacuum cleaner in your closet, I’ll get to your room next week, when you’re at school.” June giggled before adding, “I’ll make sure I don’t knock any dice over in the process.”

Kevin couldn’t believe his stepmother was being so blasé about her experience. “That’s what I wanted to talk to you about, Mom. About you being…” Kevin found he couldn’t finish that sentence.

“Being shrunk?” His stepmother finished for him.”This may be subjective on my part, it I swear being shrunk tightens the body up more than the best yoga session.” June took a bite before adding, “I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t enjoy that last part of being shrunken because I did. Very, very much. But I’m still processing the whole experience and I need some time. Let’s just enjoy supper, go find something to watch on TV this evening, and talk about it in the morning.”

Kevin nodded his concession to his stepmother’s wishes. But try as he might, Kevin couldn’t stop thinking of how he played with his shrunken stepmother’s body all evening. And those errant thoughts followed him into his dreams later that night.
