Maybe you should prepare in case it doesn't stop right away and you end up much, much smaller. You're lucky enough your shrinking is slow and gives you time to get stuff out : water, food, maybe clothes (ie. doll clothes? or tissue would do in a pinch), etc. I hope you don't have pets...

Yes, maybe set out a penny and sit down on it in case it doesn't stop so someone can easily find you. Leave a note next to it!

Yeah, this is great. Nice storytelling.

My advice:
1. Stay in bed so your roomies can find you if you get real small. (Always the first place anyone looks.) That or get up on a desk if you're still able.
2. This may be an ask seeing your username, but get rid of the cat.
