Back to the original line of this thread, I found this picture of the filming of Kong 76. I think this would be as close to actually being "handled" by giant hands as you could get. So, Jessica still wins the "real life SW experience" award......and maybe her stunt woman, though I don't believe she ever used one for the movie.




There was another girl in the movie that got taken out of a bus or train car...... but she just got grabbed then thrown away, so she doesn't count.

If in 1976 this worked, imagine today with much accurate mechanics and subtle movements, what we can do if we connect a pair of VR gloves into a pair of hands like these...

You are 100% correct, but it's easier and cheaper to do it with computers now so they wouldn't even consider it. Just like video killed the radio star, CGI and AI are going to kill artists.

Someone will event some "way" for hand made stuff to be watermarked, I don´t know what but I know wherever is a need it will be a solution...
