I'm a Scientist not a Pimp! - Preview of a F/f story I'm working on

Here's a teaser for another story I'm working on. I'll publish more once I finish Maya's Downfall.

Chapter 1 - Rejection

Viviane sighed deeply, slumping back in her chair as the investor’s dismissive words echoed in her mind. Her fingers drummed against the cold metal desk, the only sound in the otherwise silent lab.

“We just don’t know what use this really has. Nobody wants to be 10 inches tall except maybe some weirdos with a fetish.”

Her jaw clenched at the memory. Years of tireless work, millions in funding, all for that condescending remark about her life’s greatest achievement - the revolutionary shrink chamber technology she had named the Epsilon Compression Chamber.

Removing her glasses, she pinched the bridge of her nose. The science was sound, the potential nearly limitless if only the small-minded fools could see past their own ignorance.

NASA, reviewing the invention for interstellar missions, concluded that current spacecraft technology isn’t advanced enough for a significant investment. The excuse still made her blood boil months later. Stellar exploration? The belittling of her groundbreaking discovery as overly ambitious science fiction by those small-minded bureaucrats sent her into a fit of anger. They’d spent hours discussing theoretical applications before dismissing the Epsilon Chamber with patronizing smiles and empty promises to “keep in touch.” As if she hadn’t already mapped out precise calculations showing how a crew of miniaturized astronauts could revolutionize space travel, slashing fuel costs and resource requirements to a fraction of current needs.

No, there had to be more. A real, tangible application that could change the world and line her pockets. Something daring, something that would shake the naysayers to their core. Her fingers drummed against the polished surface of her desk as her mind raced through possibilities. The Epsilon Chamber’s potential was practically limitless - if only she could find the right angle, the perfect pitch that would make those stuffy investors see what she saw. Their short-sightedness was suffocating, but Viviane knew in her bones that she was on the cusp of something revolutionary. She just needed that enormous investment.

She hadn’t been idle though, creating a side hustle that had generated more wealth than she’d expected. Her “little” side business of shrunken companions had proven more lucrative than expected. The euphemism made her lips curl - “companion service.” Such a delicate way to describe what was essentially a high-class escort service for the wealthy and adventurous.

Her first client had been a CEO’s wife, paying premium rates for a shrunken volleyball player that she had her eye on. The money flowed easily after that. Word spread through exclusive circles, and soon Viviane managed a roster of willing college students eager to earn tuition money through unconventional means.

She traced her fingers along the chamber’s smooth surface, remembering her own experience inside. The rush of pleasure as her body compressed, the heightened sensations - it had been intoxicating. That night, alone in her lab, she’d explored every inch of her transformed body, marveling at how different everything felt at ten inches tall. The secret thrill still made her pulse quicken.

Though proud of her height, she found a strange appeal in being tiny. The vulnerability mixed with intense physical pleasure created an experience unlike anything else. She’d kept that experiment to herself - her reputation demanded she maintain an image of control.

Last week’s private session with Melissa, one of her top earners, flashed through her mind. The petite brunette, shrunk down and completely at Viviane’s mercy, had proven entertaining. Though she wouldn’t own up to it, these encounters soothed the pain of corporate rejection, and she found them quite pleasurable. The satisfaction she derived from her “companions” yielding completely to her desires and trembling under her touch almost compensated for the business world’s failure to acknowledge her genius. Almost. The chamber could have revolutionized transportation, medicine, even space travel - yet all anyone seemed interested in was its potential for intimate entertainment. Still, as she recalled the sounds of their diminutive gasps and moans, Viviane couldn’t entirely suppress a self-satisfied smile.

A notification lit up her phone - another booking request. The money was good, better than anything a traditional job offered. Still, it wasn’t the empire she’d envisioned when creating the Epsilon Chamber. But for now, it kept the lights on and satisfied certain... curiosities.

The lab door swung open, the familiar clicking of heels against tile echoing through the room. Viviane straightened, her breath catching in her throat as Veronica Sinclair strode in with her usual confident swagger. Her cleavage was ridiculous, as always, and Viviane couldn’t help but stare.

“Well, if it isn’t my favorite brilliant but tragically single-minded scientist,” the middle-aged woman purred, draping herself over Viviane’s desk. “You look tense, darling. Need someone to help you... unwind?” “Maybe you could do that here,” Vivian teased, her voice dropping to a playful purr as she leaned slightly forward, accentuating her curves and letting her fingers trail suggestively along the edge of her neckline.

Veronica’s eyes glinted with mischief, a teasing smile playing across her ruby lips. Viviane felt her cheeks flush, cursing her body’s visceral response.

Veronica leaned forward, her low-cut blouse revealing even more of her ample curves. Viviane’s mouth went dry, and she forced herself to look away, adjusting her glasses with trembling fingers.

From her designer handbag, Veronica produced a small carrier - the specialized container used to transport shrunken companions. Inside, a tiny Chloe waved up at them, still dressed in an evening gown that barely covered her miniaturized form.

“What a wonderful evening.” Veronica placed the carrier on the desk. “Worth every penny.” She traced a manicured finger along Viviane’s arm. “And you know, I’d pay a pretty penny for you.”

Viviane rolled her eyes, pulling her arm away from Veronica’s wandering fingers. “Not today, Veronica. I’ve got work to do.” She gestured at the stack of research papers on her desk. “But I’m glad you enjoyed another evening with one of our companions.”

“Such a shame.” Veronica’s hips swayed as she backed away from the desk. “The offer stands, darling. Think about it - you, me, a weekend of... scientific exploration.” She blew a kiss and sashayed out the door, leaving behind a cloud of expensive perfume.

Viviane shook her head and opened the carrier. “Ready to return to normal size, Chloe?”

The tiny blonde nodded, and Viviane transferred her to the chamber. Minutes later, a full-sized Chloe emerged, smoothing down her dress.

“You know...” Chloe’s lips curved into a knowing smile as she gathered her things. “Veronica’s not wrong. The shrinking experience is incredible. And she pays really well.”

“Don’t you start too.” Viviane buried herself in her paperwork.

“Just saying. The way she looks at you...” Chloe lingered by the door. “She’d probably double her usual rate. Triple it even.”

“Goodbye, Chloe.”

After the door clicked shut, Viviane leaned back in her chair. Her fingers traced the edge of her desk as she considered Chloe’s words. Triple the usual rate? That would be... substantial. But not nearly enough to fund another round of research.

She caught her reflection in the darkened monitor - tall, commanding, always in control. But for the right price? Her lips curved into a thoughtful smile. For the right price, she might consider temporarily trading that control for something more... interesting.

Thanks! Right now I have an idea of where the story is going to go but I haven't finalized it yet. I'm thinking that she's going to have a mysterious benefactor who offers to fund her research further, but to test it she wants to experience a weekend with all her companions. And to Viviane's surprise, that includes her too!

Viviane’s heels clicked against the marble floor of Reynolds Capital’s lobby. This was unlike anywhere she had ever been. The building, all glass and steel, extended higher than most buildings in Manhattan. The success of Katherine Reynolds’ investments was unmistakable. Viviane adjusted her blazer, smoothing invisible wrinkles from the tailored fabric.

“This is my moment,” she thought to herself. “If I can convince Katherine Reynolds of my brilliance today, then I can make my dreams come true.”

The elevator whisked her up to the top floor. Katherine’s assistant, a petite blonde who barely reached Viviane’s shoulder, led her through a maze of modernist furniture and abstract art.

Katherine rose from behind her desk as Viviane entered. For once, Viviane had to tilt her head back slightly to meet someone’s eyes. Katherine’s auburn hair caught the afternoon sun streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and her emerald eyes sparkled with mischief. For someone middle-aged, she looked surprisingly young; she appeared to be in her early thirties at most.

“Dr. Kane.” Katherine extended her hand. Her grip was firm, confident. “I’ve been following your work with great interest. I think it has many interesting possibilities. It’s surprising that you haven’t had investors throwing themselves at you.”

“Most people have only been interested in the companion services so far. It’s a pleasure to finally meet someone who understands my vision,” Viviane stated in a neutral, professional tone.

“Please.” Katherine gestured to a leather chair. “I’m more interested in the technology itself. The applications beyond... entertainment are fascinating.”

Viviane settled into the chair, crossing her legs. “Yet every investor so far has dismissed it as a novelty.”

“Their loss.” Katherine perched on the edge of her desk. “I’ve made my fortune seeing the potential where others see frivolity. Your shrinking technology could revolutionize shipping, storage, even space travel.”

“Finally, someone who understands.” Viviane leaned forward. “The companion service is temporary. It’s just to fund further research.”

Katherine’s fingers traced patterns on her desk’s edge. “However, there’s one significant hurdle with investors. Safety concerns.” She straightened, her height casting a shadow across Viviane. “That’s why we need a proper demonstration.”

Viviane’s stomach tightened. She’d heard this before - demands for proof, for trials, for guinea pigs. “My process has been tested extensively “.

“My friend Veronica is hosting a dinner party this weekend.” Katherine interrupted, her lips twisting into a knowing smile. “Rather exclusive affair. We’re prepared to book every single companion you have available, all expenses paid.”

The amount of money that would involve made Viviane’s head spin. Even for someone of Katherine’s wealth, it was an extravagant gesture. “Every companion?”

“Mhmm.” Katherine circled her desk, each step deliberate. “I can guarantee you - if those tiny beauties show our potential investors a good time, your funding concerns will vanish overnight.”

Viviane’s fingers dug into the leather armrests. The profit margin would be astronomical, but something in Katherine’s tone set off warning bells. “Veronica... you don’t mean Veronica Sinclair?”

“The same.” Katherine’s smile widened. “She’s quite familiar with your services already, isn’t she?”

Heat crept up Viviane’s neck as she remembered Veronica’s last visit - her knowing smirks, her suggestive comments about how Viviane would look at ten inches tall. “She’s one of our most valued clients.”

“Perfect then. You already know she’ll take excellent care of your girls.” Katherine pulled out her phone. “Shall I tell her to expect your full roster?”

Viviane’s mind raced through her employee roster. “Twenty-one companions are available this weekend.”

“Mm.” Katherine’s perfectly manicured nails tapped her phone screen. “That’s going to be a problem. We have twenty-three guests in total.”

“Twenty-three?” Viviane shifted in her chair.

“Veronica and I will share one companion.” Katherine’s eyes gleamed. “So we only need one more.”

“I can’t get another escort on such short notice.” Viviane shook her head. “My screening process is thorough. Training takes weeks.”

Katherine’s lips curved into a predatory smile. “Well, there is one more employee...”

Confusion flickered across Viviane’s face before understanding hit her like ice water. “Me? That’s absurd.”

“Is it?” Katherine circled behind her chair. “You don’t mind being their madam. What’s wrong with being an escort for a few days if it leads to your dreams coming true?”

Viviane leaped to her feet, attempting an intimidating stance, using her height to appear almost as tall as Katherine. “I’m a scientist, not a pimp.” Her voice crackled with anger. “And I’m definitely not an escort. And they aren’t escorts, anyway. They are companions.”

“Such rigid categories.” Katherine clicked her tongue. “Scientist. Madam. Companion. Escort. Why limit yourself?”

“Because I-“ Viviane’s hands clenched into fists. The distinction mattered. It had to matter. She wasn’t like the women she employed. She was different. Better. Wasn’t she?

Viviane straightened her spine, using every inch of her height. “No chance. Not going to happen.” She crossed her arms. “If you want a demonstration, you can come to my lab. Shrink yourself down. You can be the twenty-second companion. I have twenty-one girls available, and that doesn’t include me.”

Katherine’s smile never wavered. Her fingers traced the edge of her desk as she edged closer. “That’s a shame. I wish we could have come to an understanding.” She paused, green eyes boring into Viviane. “It’s going to be hard to convince investors it’s safe if its own inventor won’t even use it.”

“In that case, they’re not intelligent, so I’m not wasting my time,” Viviane said indignantly. “This meeting is over.”

She strode toward the door, heels striking the floor with sharp, angry clicks. But beneath her indignation, a treacherous whisper crept through her mind. The thought of being small, of experiencing what her escorts felt... Her stomach fluttered.

“Think about it,” Katherine’s voice followed her to the door, rich with amusement.

Viviane’s hand froze on the doorknob. For a split second, she imagined herself at ten inches tall, looking up at Katherine’s towering form. Heat bloomed across her cheeks. She yanked the door open and escaped into the hallway, Katherine’s knowing chuckle echoing behind her.

Very, very nice, but, wait, is this still the AI writing?

I used AI to edit some of my sentences and went with it. This is just an extremely rough draft. I’m using an editing program that will fix any grammar errors and recommend fixes. It kind of sucks at changing dialogue if there are any grammar issues. I was just kind of getting the flow of the conversation to see if anyone likes it. I probably won’t be able to write anything for a few weeks so wanted to get one last thing in to gauge people’s responses. I’m not even really working on this actively. After this, I’m not going to use AI anymore except to outline chapters. It’s honestly pretty terrible.

I didn’t mind using AI at first because I wasn’t sure if anyone would like my story ideas.

Seems like people actually do so now I will put the effort into actually writing everything myself, but that’s going to take a lot longer unfortunately.

So my next plan of action is to start on Maya’s Downfall again from the first chapter and rewrite most of it from scratch. Then I’ll start working on this. I have 4 chapters left of Maya’s Downfall to finish so I’ll probably actually write this in March.

So to answer your question on AI. Kind of. AI didn’t write anything, but it “optimized” some of my sentences so some of it is kind of clunky.
