A Night Elf in Love

I've been toying with the idea of a short story that would involve a Night Elf, (Rogue or Hunter perhaps) who has had a long-term friendship and somewhat unsuccessful relationship with a Gnome, Mage. His extremely short stature being the principal issue that she is simply unable to overcome. After a tremendous amount research of research effort collect all of the necessary reagents, the ever industrious gnome believes that he has finally discovered the solution to his little problem.

Interesting plot, why would someone wish to be bigger when they can make others SMALLER ??????????

The only turn-off here for me is the fact they already have a relationship and there isn´t much space for unwanted handling, LOL, unless the Elf has mostly romantic expectations and the Gnome falls into the dark side of lust after having all the CONTROL

My original idea had been to avoid NC interaction on general principals. However, I suppose WoW is a game that is fundamentally about conflict and resolution of these conflicts through the application of physical and magical combat.

So, if our hero protagonist is the Gnome and winning the affection for the statuesque elf of his dreams are his goal. Then his hero's journey would be marked by his quest to acquire the knowledge and reagents necessary to adjust the height of his intended.

As he progresses through the word he would naturally experience duels with various female Hoard characters. When he is defeats one of them they must submit to testing the most recent solution to his height problem. I image his conquests would likely involve an Orc, a Troll and a Blood Elf from the Hoard side at least. It might also be interesting if he dueled a Gnome, a Dwarf and a Human from the Alliance.
