"Like" button
I don't know if it is possible to do on this type of forum, but would it be possible to put a "Like" or similar type feature so if someone views a collage, video or story, they can like it without leaving a comment? Maybe for unregistered visitors also. Some viewers may be shy about making a comment or not registered so they can't leave a comment. And I know a few folks get pissy when someone comments on their "private thread" so this would give artists and authors some feedback on their works.

What a great idea! Though we'll have to wait till Admin notices the post to know if it's possible.DocRick wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 5:15 pmI don't know if it is possible to do on this type of forum, but would it be possible to put a "Like" or similar type feature so if someone views a collage, video or story, they can like it without leaving a comment? I guess ideally there could a "like" button (or maybe an equivalent Smilie version), or even better a thumbs up option or a thumbs down one to register your opinion, like on YouTube.
Yes, but only a few certain members get pissy about their threads diversifying into other discussions, but we have to put up with a bit of immaturity from time to time.

Yes I get your point.
But I think Doc was alluding to a way of expressing an opinion of something you've read/seen, without actually making a post yourself to do so.
I think we're looking for ways of helping the shy (or lazy) to express their feelings without posting.. But do correct me if I'm wrong.
