Should piercings shrink with the lady?

So I'm drawing up ideas for a future story...well one that'll be more episodic than continuous but I am curious on everyone's take on this.

I am in the belief that something small like a earring and attached to the diminishing lass should shrink with them but I also found myself going back and forth on that lately.

I agree. Or you could say that things not produced by the body just slide out through wherever the lost body mass goes, and then drops to the floor. Tooth fillings, artificial hips, makeup ect will "heal" with the body, based on an idealized and intelligent adaptation of what the person's DNA says they ought to be. So if they ever grow back, they will still be cuter and healthier than before.

When a person is shrunk by some type of miniaturization device or exposure to radiation, everything within their "aura", that is, anything in direct contact with their body, is miniaturized with them, clothes, jewelry, artificial body parts, etc. The floor or ground they are standing on is not affected however, as its own aura blocks the effects of the miniaturizing device.

If the shrinking is caused by a virus, the virus destroys any artificial matter like implants, bone replacements or dental filling, and recreates the once missing parts by manipulating the DNA of the surrounding body cells to regrow them.

It's my fantasy and I'm sticking to it.

I am sorry to inform, that is now MANDATORY for everything to shrink with her... No out of oversized clothes will be allowed anymore...

I signed the decrete yesterday and it is in effect since midnight !!!

Shrink at will, shrink whatever you fancy, but it all goes down along...

Shrinking out of clothes is just so boring, it destroys all the mystery and the fun and anticipation.

I might move to Portugal where it's officially banned!

After a long struggle with the courts I managed to have the exclusive rights and now decreed that Clothes ALWAYS shrink along, including shoes
