"Shrunken Drone Clone", aka my vision for the safest and probably more "realistic" way f shrinking

So, we have seen many concept for shrinking, were it science or magic or something else, but I just thought of a concept that's probably haven't been talked about; which is a shrunken drone clone.

So when I say it's realistic, it's in quotation because it requires perfect cloning to already exist, and although we haven't had that currently, dna copying is a currently hot topic and even actual cloning of non human have probably been done. So let's say it's realistic in a sense that it doesn't require mumbo jumbo made up science or literal magic, but based on a real science that is already studied by scientists and yet still far away from becoming a reality.

The way we do this, is that we create a physical, perfect clone of the woman, but as you might've guessed it, it's smaller. But, to avoid ethical implications of cloning, the subject controls the tiny clone; transfer of consciousness as u might say. Body of the subject is in a sleep state, controlling the tiny clone would feel like dreaming. And if things went south, body of the real person would just wake up, and shrunken body can be fixed.

What do you guys think? Is it foolproof? Is it fun? Tell me in the comments! And anyone is free to make this concept a story!

Something like this was brought up a while back. Same concept as in the movie Avatar, but a miniature body instead of a full size or larger body.

I think the most difficult part would be to decide when one is down and the other is up, how do you keep the tiny clone alive if the big original goes 2 weeks without wanting to play ?

But hey, THE IDEA IS VERY EXCITING, don´t get me wrong...

The tiny body isn't "alive" by any means, it's just a vessel clone that would have no independent consciousness, like the other guy said, it's kinda like Avatar.

However, it does need maintenance, proper storage, and probably eventually needs to be replaced.

That is pretty close to what my characters here are. The difference is that they are not remotely controlled. They have copies of the original subject's brains. (Who lived the rest of their lives ages ago.)
