Not sure how I stumbled upon this, but here's a podcast of two women watching and commenting on 80s movies (that they remember from their youth), and in their seventh episode, they covered The Incredible Shrinking Woman.

They break it down and mock it and discuss potential themes & meanings. At one point, they wonder about the implications of sex in the movie--like Vance reading the "Marriage without Sex" book and later when he gives Barbie-sized Pat lingerie and she climbs up into bed with him. They also reference "giant porn" at one point!

Definitely a fun listen and they’re honing into the stuff we see emphasized as important in the community.
