Kassie and her friends decided to spend the day at the Fun Fair which was going on in the next town over. They got some food and pop to drink as they walked the fairgrounds, played some games and saw some of the attractions. Kassie then got all excited and shouted "Look !!! Look !!!" while pointing at the funhouse. Unlike her friends, she loved funhouse, haunted houses, anything that would scare her. Her friends looked at the facade and seeing scary clowns, told her to forget it. Kassie called them a bunch of pussies and ran to the ticket booth. She handed the young blonde woman her money and entered through the curtains in the clown's mouth.
The first room she entered was empty. A door was on the other side of the room so she walked to it and opened it. Peering into the dark room, she couldn't see anything or anybody but she walked in anyway. The door closed behind her then the room lit up. A dozen horrible looking clowns rushed at her. She stumbled backward into a smooth wall. She turned around and realized the "wall" was actually a thick glass window and several more scary looking clowns were behind it. She realized she was in a glass tunnel and the evil clowns were all on the other side of the glass. She regained her composure, disappointed in herself for getting scared in a funhouse. Looking down the glass hallway, she saw another door.
Opening this next door, again she peered into darkness. Smiling to herself, she thought they're not gonna get me twice. As she closed the door, the room exploded in a blinding display of lasers and strobe lights. She felt a vibration over and into her body. She began to feel nauseous, then the lights stopped. Another door was on other side of room. She turned back to the door she had just come in only to find it locked. She walked towards the other door.
She entered another dark room and when the door closed, she was surrounded by a hoard of zombies all coming at her. But she saw the glass and didn't react. She laughed and continued walking down the hallway as the zombies pounded on the glass wall, to the next door. As she entered the darkened room, the door closed behind her and the room lit up with lasers and strobe lights again. She felt nauseous as a vibrating sensation permeated her body again. It only lasted a few seconds then stopped.
Another door on the other side of the room, again opened into a dark room. She walked inside and the door closed, leaving her in pitch darkness. She could hear something......a bubbling noise.....water? The light came on and she found herself underwater. Not really underwater, but inside one of the aquariums that have the enclose glass walkways where you could see the aquatic creatures all around and above you. She saw fish swimming by, plants swaying in the currents and an aerator bubbling. But it was strange.....the fish looked exactly like the fish in her aquarium at home, zebras, neons, angel fish, tetras......but these were huge. A neon is usually barely an inch long, but these looked to be about 2 feet long. Must be an optical illusion or hologram or something. She walked through the glass corridor to the next door. Weird, she thought, but not scary.
Entering the next room, she expected to be assailed by strobe lights and lasers again, but this time when the lights came on, she was in another glass tunnel. She looked through the glass and saw rats........yuck, rats, she thought. But like the fish, these rats looked huge.....the size of bears. Most of them paid no attention to her, though one did glare at her, it's hideous tongue licking it's ratty lips like it thought she would make a tasty snack.
Through another door into a dark room. The lights came on and she saw the face of a cat the size of a one car garage looking at her. As she looked back at it, it hissed and swatted the glass between them. Kassie felt the room shake with the impact of the cat's paw. Wow, she thought. That thing looks so real. Even though she knew it was a trick of some kind, as she walked down the glass corridor to the next door, she kept looking back as the cat continued to stalk her.
She stepped though the next door into another cavernous dark room. There was a faint light coming from the far end, like light coming through a curtain. How big is this place, she thought. It didn't look this big from the outside. Nothing happed in this room. No strobe lights or lasers, no glass walls with monsters on the other side. It took her a minute to get to the curtains, then she pushed through them and found herself staring into a bright spotlight. She turned from the light and looked at the front of the building. It looked like she came out the same way she went in, but it was constructed a plastic, not wood like the doorway she first entered. She stepped to the ticket booth to find the blonde lady who had taken her money had been replaced by a mannequin that looked like a child's doll. Turning back around towards the light she called out for her friends.....for anybody. What was going on? she thought. Where is everybody? No answer returned to her calls. Now, she was getting a little scared. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" Still no answer and she screamed, "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?"
A shadow formed over her as she looked down at her feet. A huge shadow that looked like five fingers.....a hand........it blocked out the light......it came closer. No, not a shadow. She could almost feel the heat radiating from it came closer. Her scream was muffled as she was suddenly enveloped in a wall of flesh and lifted up off the ground. The last thing she heard before fainting was maniacal laughter.
