Panic?

Has anyone else had this happen to you?

You're watching something with other people, and a scene like the ones we have in here goes on, you just lock up or something like that, if it has, you can tell over here

Definitely. The best example I can think of was when I was much younger. I remember anytime a cartoon would have a shrinking scene, I'd feel oddly self conscious and have a strong desire to view it by myself. (This is obviously before I had any real sense of what shrinking meant to me.) In a related way, I freeze up whenever I hear the word "shrink" uttered in other contexts. It's like a visceral reaction that I try to hide. I typically use synonyms (e.g., "decrease," "reduce") instead of actually saying "shrink," if that makes any sense.

When I was a kid (<10 yo), watching "Incredible shrinking man" with my parents, I began to feel a strange fascination and suddenly something "strange" happened to my penis. I didn't know what sex was yet, but I felt embarrassed and I tried to hide my erection.
My love for the microphilia is something that always has been inside of me. I consider it as an important part of what I am and I accept it.

A few years before, when one of my children was 8 months, we were in the supermarket and I showed her a bag of mini-cupcakes (about 1/5 of regular size). She immediately fell in love with them, hugged the bag and didn't want to let it go even to pay for it. I spend the rest of the day thinking if my daughter could have inherited my microphilia (damn these things can be inherited??), but I will never know (and I don't want to).

BTW My (ex) wife never knew about my preferences. She was very traditional and no open-minded, and she referred to such philias as "mental disorders".

first of all, that's quite the fascinating story, second of all, who knows, maybe that does get passed down in some way or another

Knew from a young age that tiny people excited me was 21 before I found out I wasn’t alone
