I know I've not been around this forum for a long while but I feel I need to add what little I know. Here is the official YouTube reason for the termination of my account, it's for violating their "spam, deceptive practices and scams" policy:



My only guess is that I used their Youtube Shorts format to re-crop videos to a vertical 9:16 ratio to post some clips who were not allowed on the "normal" video format. This could fall under their broad umbrella of "detection evasion":

Detection evasion: Technical manipulation (such as speeding up audio, heavy filters, cropping) designed to bypass abuse detection.

So there you have it, I don't have any more details, and my appeal has unsurprisingly been denied. Good news is that I have backups of everything, but I don't know what I'm going to do going forward just yet. I'm considering my options.

damn that sucks! it was only a few days since your recent upload, and even i contributed to one of those videos being found. this stinks!

now i'll never get to see that trolltider clip(s) again!

Maybe you can help him get it back? I don't want him to lose all that hardwork and give up because of YT's stupid AI roboticized staff making a mess of things like this. And its been happening to more channels on there now.

At first i sent an appeal and it got denied then one of my other channels got terminated and submitted an appeal on that account and it was accepted and put both accounts back up

The only way he, and anyone else, can do that is by reaching whatever's left of human staff through Twitter. But with how roboticized YT is, thanks to Google, it's getting to be about as bad as DA, FB, and Instagram. Because corpos are so lazy and greedy, that they want to put broken robots in charge over actual humans that can actually get the job done right. Humans hired by MERIT even!
