I know I've not been around this forum for a long while but I feel I need to add what little I know. Here is the official YouTube reason for the termination of my account, it's for violating their "spam, deceptive practices and scams" policy:



My only guess is that I used their Youtube Shorts format to re-crop videos to a vertical 9:16 ratio to post some clips who were not allowed on the "normal" video format. This could fall under their broad umbrella of "detection evasion":

Detection evasion: Technical manipulation (such as speeding up audio, heavy filters, cropping) designed to bypass abuse detection.

So there you have it, I don't have any more details, and my appeal has unsurprisingly been denied. Good news is that I have backups of everything, but I don't know what I'm going to do going forward just yet. I'm considering my options.

damn that sucks! it was only a few days since your recent upload, and even i contributed to one of those videos being found. this stinks!

now i'll never get to see that trolltider clip(s) again!

Maybe you can help him get it back? I don't want him to lose all that hardwork and give up because of YT's stupid AI roboticized staff making a mess of things like this. And its been happening to more channels on there now.

At first i sent an appeal and it got denied then one of my other channels got terminated and submitted an appeal on that account and it was accepted and put both accounts back up

The only way he, and anyone else, can do that is by reaching whatever's left of human staff through Twitter. But with how roboticized YT is, thanks to Google, it's getting to be about as bad as DA, FB, and Instagram. Because corpos are so lazy and greedy, that they want to put broken robots in charge over actual humans that can actually get the job done right. Humans hired by MERIT even!

That stinks. There were so many videos that I hadn't watched yet. (And I like to think that I helped contribute to foreverlurk's YouTube channel.)

It was only brief clips that were cropped. Other YouTube members have posted entire Warner Brothers cartoons on YouTube by cropping them. (One Sylvester and Tweety cartoon was so heavily cropped that you couldn't see Tweety when he was running around on the floor.)

On the same day that foreverlurk's YouTube channel was deleted, ALL of my YouTube notifications were deleted in one fell swoop. Yes, a lot of my comments were about foreverlurk's videos. But I also posted comments about classic cartoons, people who did/do cartoon voicework, and 1970's-vintage station ID's for Tampa's WTOG 44. All gone. I hope that I didn't have anything to do with foreverlurk's YouTube channel being deleted. Someone online seems to have it in for me. Starting on August 6th, my Facebook comments started getting deleted as "spam". Over thirty comments were deleted as "spam" over the course of less than a month. But every time, I made the exact same comment, word for word, the next day, but it didn't get deleted. Supposedly I was posting at "high volume". One time I had made a whopping two comments, on different posts, in the Tampa History Facebook group, plus one comment on my Facebook timeline. The third post got deleted as "spam". One night the deleting of comments followed me across four different Facebook groups: Tampa History, Cartoon Research, Hanna-Barbera Forever, and Evolution Time. Now I don't dare make more than one comment on a post per day.

A couple of months ago, YouTube member "eddiehatesyou" posted a promo for The Miniature Wife, and said in the description "Special thanks to @Zeshrinkar supplying this and justice for foreverlurk who was banned for something he didn't do.".

Just a thought, instead of YouTube, what about Dailymotion? They have always seemed to be far less strict on uploads
