Shrunken ladys and mirrors

There's something about the combination of shrunken ladies with smartphones and mirrors that intrigues me. Salma had to push a chair that was almost as high as she was across the room, climb on it, so that she could be seen completely in the mirror at all. All for her daily shrinkie selfie.

Sometimes we think something has to look different because we are so used to it from movies and advertising photos, but the mirror in the 3d scene really shows 1:1 the back of the little lady as she would be seen in reality because of the camera angle.

So she is actually leaning towards the camera in a way that is not noticeable except in her reflection then? When I have tried to use 3D software I was amazed and frustrated how the program seemed geared to making optical illusions that looked like one thing when I made it, but different from every other angle. It was quite frustrating.
