Wait... canceled?!?! Looks to me like that's a good reason to roll out the new system to as many stores as possible, ASAP!

Of course it got canceled. The shoplifters weren't supposed to start disappearing. If they take a close look at their clerks, they'll find they've been buying small animal cages and quite a bit of pet food. The geniuses over in management actually thought it would be a temporary public humiliation. One day in the jar for the first offense, two for the next, and so on. Nobody could have foreseen that some store clerk would take an interest in them.

Honestly, I was going for a Far Side-esqe one-shot of "what could possibly go wrong here." But then it seemed a shame to not stick her in random places since I had the gas station all setup. Not quite sure where she'll wind up next, but I have an exam tomorrow, so I'll figure it out next week.
