Well, all we know about Alex's mother is that she and her father were reported missing when their country was invaded.

Thank you for another weeks' adventures with my heroine Alex and her surrogate family. It seems Alex is slowly accepting her new life as the family doll or pet. Honestly, what else can she do about her situation? She actually has a better life than many of the tinies I've known. But I don't think she will be truly happy until she gets some decent shoes...

Thank you also for finally showing us what the rest of Mrs. Reynolds looks like! She is quite lovely for an older woman. It's hard to believe she married that pervert of a husband!

Missy is only 6, so Mrs. Reynolds could easily be in her mid to late twenties. And I think she married Mr. Reynolds for his money.........can't think of any other reason she would.

Sorry about that...we can agree that shoes are definitely a girl thing. (and no girl who cares about her guy would want him along when she is shopping anyway).

During one outing, Mrs. Reynolds was stopped by the police for speeding. Alex, who was sitting on the center console, had to dive for the floorboards to avoid being seen, then dodge Mrs. Reynolds feet until she could drive to a safe place to put her in the cup holder.

Picked up and deposited in her purse, Mrs. Reynolds gets ready for a outing with Alex and the kids.

By now, Alex has learned to stay very close to Mrs. Reynolds when they are outside. Too many scary things for a 5-inch-tall girl. But the beach is still a fun place to be, as long as Joey doesn't try to dump the bucket of sand on her. Mrs. Reynolds was always close at "hand" in the event Alex got frightened or anxious.

On page 5, she bought an aquarium with a locking lid so Mr. Reynolds can't get at Alex anymore. Any other time, Alex is with her. Mr. Reynolds is too wimpy to argue with the Mrs.

One day on the patio, Mrs. Reynolds turned on her old school BoomBox. Alex remembered something.....she loved to dance.

Looks like Alex is opening herself to Mrs. Reynolds. Again, the mother Alex didn't know she needed.

Very astute. Their dynamic could go in any direction. Being tiny, she is quite dependent on Mrs. Reynolds, both for safety as well as sustenance, like a child or pet. However, they are not that far different in age, so mother figure, friend or even romantic relationship are possible.

The "odd" doll clothing, the ones that felt like her old regular clothes, have stopped appearing. The doll clothing, such as the Bratz line, were okay, but the fabric was a little thick and scratchy. Mrs. Reynolds decided Alex needed some new clothes that were more comfortable as the summertime was rather warm where they lived, so she bought some very soft and fine material and began making clothes for Alex, such as this skirt and tube top.

Missy still liked dressing Alex in the doll clothing however, adding ribbons and hair adornments. Alex didn't mind as it was only during playtime, but she still hated the plastic doll boots and shoes.

After the kids are in bed, it's quiet time for Alex and Mrs. Reynolds. Those sliced strawberries look a little messy..........

Leaving Missy and Alex to their own devices on the enclosed patio with a paint set, Mrs. Reynolds came out to find this.....

It does seem that Alex has all but accepted her new role of family pet.
I'm surprised Alex has not yet tried to get back into the secret room where she found all the tiny clothes and that looked and felt like her real ones.

She hasn't had the opportunity to explore the house on her own again. She's always with Mrs. Reynolds and Missy or locked safely in her aquarium home and she is still afraid of Mr. Reynolds, so she won't give him the opportunity to find her alone. And the plastic shoes are all Mrs. Reynolds has given her. Lately, all she's been given to wear are the actual doll clothes or something Mrs. Reynolds has made.

Playing with Missy's Anime toys, Mrs. Reynolds somehow found a cosplay-type outfit for Alex. The boots and shoulder pads are a rubbery plastic and the crown is plastic, the rest being a rayon or nylon material with rubber or latex accents. Rather high quality for doll clothes.

Remember a few days ago, Alex made a disparaging comment regarding having to ride in Mrs. Reynolds purse? Today, she showed Alex what she bought for her. When she saw the logo on the side, her heart sank a bit as she again was confronted with what she is to Mrs. Reynolds now. Alex had thought over the past couple of weeks that Mrs. Reynolds was beginning to see her more as a person, but she realized that it just wasn't true.

Well, I guess that explains that. I just think that there are still some unanswered questions about exactly HOW Alex got so tiny in the first place and WHY there is a forbidden room that seems to hold her old clothes and perhaps some of these answers.

I understand that Alex was disheartened by her new ride being as underlining her status as a pet a little too much. However, compared to being in another woman's purse, that looks to me like a sweet ride. Whenever I have to ride in a giant purse, I always come out with bruises from the giantess' cell phone, hair brush, compact and lipstick!

Would also LOVE to see pet Alex's new digs if at all possible. It's amazing that you have been able to keep this little tale going like this! Thank you!
