Everything, from groceries to utilities have gone up 25% while the income of average Americans has gone up maybe around 5%. The only people making money of the GDP and stock market are the rich and insider traders and politicians. Everything else I said is the truth but the Left refuses to admit it. Kinda funny how our VP pushed and pushed the electric school buses but sold all her stock in it just before the company went bankrupt. POTUS son is money laundering by selling his worthless painting for 6 figure prices. The windmills and all the other "green" programs have failed miserably. Now, me personally, I'm doing fine. My pension and investments are more than I can spend, but most families and lesser prepared retirees are hurting. Just before Covid, America was the greatest country in the world if you wanted to succeed and live a good life, though yes, it did require you to work at it. Now, we're becoming a Third World country due to the current corruption (just watch the congressional hearings on Fauci and Merrick Garland currently ongoing) in our "leadership". If things don't change, I see real problems for the US, both from inside and outside our borders.

Exactly. The record speaks for itself. Every time there's a Republican president, the economy goes in the toilet. On the flip side it booms under a Democrat. Reagan, tanks. Clinton, booms with a surplus. Bush Jr. tanks. Obama 72+ months of economic growth. Trump, balloons the deficit by over 900%. Biden, lowers the inflation rate faster than since WWII. Lowest inflation rate among first world nations. And Republicans actually voted against lowering inflation. Seriously, Republicans think a guy who filed for bankruptcy selling booze and gambling in Vegas is fit to run the US economy.

That has zero to do with Democrats. Those companies chose to do that. In fact, Republicans (207 house Republicans to be exact) voted against a bill to help curb that because...they needed a platform for Trump to run on. Green programs have not failed. The dept. of energy said as much as 25% of US energy comes from wind and solar. In fact, during the great Texas freeze, wind farms were the last to fail while natural gas systems were the first. And lets not get started on Covid, Trump said it was a spring cold that would be gone by spring. And then half a million dead later...remember. This is the same guy that demanded Obama to resign after 13k people died of bird flu. I'm watching the questioning of Fauci right now and he's answering their loaded questions. I have a lowly degree in science and even I know you change treatment tactics as data comes in. But Republicans act like its some great conspiracy against Trump. People died all over the planet. My father, a huge Trump supporter bought right into the conspiracy crap, the Fauci hating, the whole nine. Then he was infected and only after the docs told him he needed to go onto a ventilator did he finally get that it was real. That the deadliness was real. And let me say it was sobering to have to say goodbye to your father over FaceTime.

Just speaking as an outsider, observer and meme enjoyer. The world has been hella more interesting when that Orange toupee merchant was in charge. But it was also a lot more scary for folks around the world. I suspect the same must have happened in the USA. Current one is boring, but it really seems like it steadied the ship. Sure, the economy takes a hit. But it takes it everywhere, the world has been out of commission for like, what, 2 years during the pandemic (in large sections of the world even longer), and afaik we will be feeling the effects of it for a very long time.

To put in perspective, it would take every person in the United States to pay $23,500 to square it. Man, woman, child. Tax breaks and more tax breaks for the ultra rich. And then the issue of corporate welfare. The socialism Republicans don't want to talk about. They call everything else socialism but not this. Both sides are full of people who are more concerned with beating the other side rather than working together and compromising on ideas and getting something accomplished to benefit the country and the people. I've heard people say they hate what the Left is doing to the economy, the border, foreign policy, the homeless problem, legalizing drugs, being soft on crime, etc but they hate Trump more because of "mean tweets" so they will vote Democrat. WTF? Then Biden who has been a racist his entire political career, voting against desegregation of schools, voting against outlawing "redlining", etc, then he says, "If you don't vote for me, you ain't black". In his "red light speech" in Pennsylvania, he said Republicans are terrorists. The bottom line is Biden and Harris are just stooges for the Democratic Machine that fears Trump because he won't play Washington D.C. political games and they want to maintain their power and wealth regardless of what it does to the country and the citizens, and people still vote for along political lines instead of which candidate has the best policies for the people. You vote on personality. It's make that clear or you wouldn't be backing Trump. Plenty of other sane Republicans but you support the guy that says windmills give folks leukemia. You said the left doesn't talk about the policies they've done. You mean Fox news doesn't run them. Democrats passed an infrastructure bill republicans didn't vote for...yet take credit for. Capped insulin which Trump couldn't even do properly. Stymed inflation which 207 republicans voted against doing. Tried slowing rising gas prices which again 207 republicans voted against.

Two things everytime there is a Democratic President there is a Republican house and Senate that Intentionally Sabotages the President and Vice Versa everytime there is a Republican President there is a Democratic Senate and House that Sabatoges them atleast its been like this for the Last 30 Years. Its why nothing Meaningfull has Happened here in the States. People Forget the Senate holds more Power than the President. The US President only has Supreme Authority over Military and Foriegn Affairs. I'm at a point where I believe the same People that Vote one Party President in the Opposite Senate and House On Purpose. Less than 30% of Americans Vote.
As for the Ecconomy. Anyone who studies the Ecconomic Calendar can tell you the Tanking(Micro Crashes) happens Automatically no Matter who's incharge Roughly every 7 Years. The Great Depression Happened because Hoover tried to Prevent a Micro Crash and wanted to Prevent all Future ones, his Mistake was thinking of the Ecconomy as a Well Oiled Machine, when its not that at all. Its just how the Ecconomic System works. While to much Inflation is a bad thing. A minor Amount of Inflation Means the Ecconomy is growing. Vice Versa Deflation means the Ecconomy is Shrinking. Both Rapid Inflation and Deflation are Signs of a Possible Imminent Collapse. All we can really do is try to Minimize Inflation. Unfurtunately both Sides Fail at this. Also Historian who study the Great Depression are unsure if Franklin Roosevelt's Policies fixed the Great Depression or Extended it by 3 Years because there is to much Conflicting Information from the Period.

The way I see it one side makes up Fairy Tail Solutions to Problems they know they Can't Fix and the Other Side just keeps on Insisting on Returning to a Past that Never Existed in the First Place. The only Fix for America's Situation is a Revolution that Kicks out both Parties and Embraces Nuclear Energy, both of which Won't happen or atleast not if things Continue like this. Or ya know actual Young People in 20s to 40s getting Elected to Political Office because then they'd be able to actually relate to the current Working Class. I think if you Turn 60 you should be removed from Office because at that age most the People you're thinking of writing Policies for are the same age as you or getting there.

The Weirdest thing to me is I am right back where I started. I went Right for a Couple Years but could not take anything to Seriously or Else I'd Question it and I just could not Stand the Left's Over Reliance on Mocking as a Defense Mechanism even if they were right at Times. Now I am back to being the Unbudging Centrist who has lost all Faith in the System.
