Trying my hand at photo manips

Started playing around with the editing tools and free apps on my tablet about a week ago. Here are some of my efforts so far.

Very nice. Your trimming skills are very good. Not sure why you posted these under VSW Art. Only the first one would even be slightly questionable for the "regular" SW Art section.

One suggestion: Try to match the skins tones a little better. The last two look really good, the skins tones are very similar and blend together very well. Most of the others, the lady is a bit more yellowish for the light pink of the hand. If you're able to modify the colors a little bit, you could really come out with some nice work.

I'll give that a try with the tools I have. I'm a poor photographer so shots of my hands often don't work how I want. Also, to be honest, I'm usually trying to get the shots before any of the family is up and around in the morning.

I don't want to break any rules, so anu insertions I may put here and others on the main board.

I hear ya. Below is one my attempts at hand photography and it's awful. I can't even use the tools to adjust the colors.



Different lighting and background helped this one come out a little better.



I usually find hands on Google or Bing images and use them, like "Hand holding bug" or something.




The tiny lady will cover up the bug.
