I lived for that first image of Dwan held up in Kong's closed fist. Every time I was in the video store I'd check it out on the back of a VHS cover, or if I was in a bookstore, I looked for it in the film books.

Wish we could've had a moment of Mighty Joe Young picking up Charlize Theron in his hand. A tighter fit than Kong, but hey, I'd take it.

Part of me is still a little sad this movie helped prevent Jackson's original Kong from being made. If only because that Kong would have used an actual mechanical hand. Not a green-screen armchair.
