WTF is wrong with this site?

For the past several weeks, I've had problems with all aspects of this site. From simply getting onto the site, logging it, maneuvering around the site, posting images or comments, I get white screens with the scroll at the top. I have to use the back arrow and attempt to submit my request as many as a dozen times, often giving up before finally getting through. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

It is unfortunately time based if you are lucky enough to have it working.
Cloudflare filters out enough of the bots to keep the site at the brink of what it can handle, instead of being down all the time.


And the white page is the same thing as the cookie request complains people had...it just means your ad blocker is working

Whenever this server is completely overloaded the requests seemingly get redirected to a domain parking site, that is not quite at acceptable levels.

Also, reloading the page seems to eventually help, so going back to the page before is not necessary. (you might need to confirm that it should resend your submission, if you made a post)

It seems to be sporadic. This morning it worked perfectly for a bit, then went haywire again. I haven't tried the "reload". I'll try it next time it happens.

Don´t click on anything... Use the refresh button on the browser, again and again, if a CONTINUE windows pops up, hit CONTINUE, it will end up going the right page...

And it even keeps memory of what you have written and will post it...

Doesn't work when trying to download an image to a post. No "Refresh" icon. Usually, six or so attempts will get it to download to the post draft.

Not only did I not have to do any reloads, but there were over 60 spam posts.
(The positive side of the broken state was, a lot fewer spam posts manage to come through )

Right now it looks like most of the board problems were caused by Chinese AI scraper bots who got confused by the session IDs and so thought they had found an infinite amount of pages to read.
(Well openAI bots and claude bots did their part too.)
Hopefully a bit of configuring and generous banning will get things back too normal, without doing too much collateral damage.

It hasn't been too bad lately. Only a few times did it cause me to refresh or repeat a process to post something. I'm just glad it's not MY computer giving me fits.
