Might fit the VSW pages better but *stumbled* on this site. Research purposes, of course. This one had my, ah, creativity going. Anything in the same vein?

I mean....
Downsizing should've had moments where a shrunken woman was held.

Almost any show / movie with witches / witchcraft.
I'd have loved to see Emma Roberts' character shrink down in American Horror Story - Coven.

Re: Movie/TV scenes you WISH had SW
I had an idea for an alternate ending to "Attack of the 50Ft Woman" In the original, after Nancy Archer grabs Harry out of the bar the Sherif fires at her, hitting a transformer tower. She is bathed in a shimmering glow and falls over, she and Harry presumably electrocuted. In my version, after the transformer is hit, she goes to one knee but doesn't go down but the shimmering continues. As she begins to walk off she finds her clothes are becoming looser, Harry's shoes fall off as both she and he are shrinking. A crowd begins to form, including her Doctor and Butler, she is forced to let her clothes fall away and pull off Harry's oversized clothes to keep a hold of him. As the Sherif and Doctor draw closer they realize she is only four feet tall and still shrinking as is Harry who is proportionate to the size of when she picked him up, the Doctor warns everyone to stay back or they could be effected. As Harry screams for help, Nancy looks up and yells, "Are you all happy!?! now you can all look down on me!!!" As she slips down to under two feet her Butler pleads to let them help her but she just screams, "just Leaves us alone!!" The crowd follows at a distance as she grows ever smaller, but the gravel becomes harder to get over and soon become like boulders to her. She sees a small opening between to tiny rocks and moves toward it, finding she is small enough to crawl through. She looks down at the tiny pleading Harry in her hands and madly squeaks, "It's just going to be you and me Harry" and crawls inside. as the Sherif, Butler and Doctor pear down the shimmer between the pebbles grow fainter and fainter the fades completely. The Doctor turns to the other a grimly says, "Well....she finally got Harry...all to herself." Any thought?

Re: Movie/TV scenes you WISH had SW
After my parents separated/divorced in 1979, one of my sisters and I still had to spend just about every Sunday with my dad, which I assume was a condition of him paying child support. Usually that meant seeing a movie. So from then until I went off to college in 1985, I saw a lot of movies. And some of them were pretty awful. One of them was Wacko, a sendup of slasher movies starring a pre-Newhart Julia Duffy. On Halloween, her character dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland. So I thought "Maybe she'll shrink!". But no such luck.

Re: Movie/TV scenes you WISH had SW
Sometime in 2016, there was a free preview of the channel EPIX at my mom's house while I was "house sitting" while she was out of town. I watched the movie Hot Pursuit, starring Reese Witherspoon as a cop and Sofia Vergara as the witness that the cop has to protect. The witness kept making fun of Reese Witherspoon being short. (Really, the whole movie kept making fun of Reese Witherspoon being short. When she tries to take over the driving of a tour bus after the driver is incapacitated, her feet don't reach the pedals.) Some samples:
And when the witness is checking out the mini bar in a hotel, she holds up one of the little bottles of booze and says "I bet these feel normal in your tiny little hands!".(The witness also calls the cop "Officer Lesbian" (just because of the shoes she wears) and "flat ass".)
I so wanted Reese Witherspoon's character to somehow be able to shrink that witness, so the tables would be turned. "You feel normal in my tiny little hands!" "I can put you in my purse, just like my dog!" (And if she was feeling especially nasty, use the tiny witness as a dildo "since you called me "Officer Lesbian".)

Possibility for shrinking in old TV shows:
The series “I Dream of Jeannie” comes to mind. I know there a couple of scenes where Major Nelson looks into the bottle to see a tiny Jeannie still in her bottle.
If they didn’t have an episode where it happened, the Robinsons from Lost in Space could have had encountered a race of giant humanoids.
The recurring mad science character on Gilligan’s Island could have had used a shrink ray on Mary Ann and Ginger. I believe there was a cartoon version of Gilligan’s Island where the castaways go into space. There’s a chance for encounters with giant humans there.
Steve Urkel invented so much else on Family Matters, why not a shrink ray?
And Adam West’s version of Batman could do with a villain who shrinks Batgirl, or accidentally shrinks Catwoman. Holy tiny hottie, Batman!

There are numerous scenes of Jeanie with giant size objects, such as telephones, pencil holders or in Tony's pocket.
The closest in Lost in Space was a giant one-eyed cyclops but as I remember, it only interacted with the males of the group.
Gilligan's Island did a Jack and Beanstalk dream episode where Mary Ann was a tiny maid for the Skipper as the giant, though it looked like she was probably three feet tall.

With all the time she spent as a tiny in Land of the Giants, I don't think Deanna Lund would be too happy with her Catwoman character being shrunk.....or was she Catwoman before becoming Valerie?

(That's Mark Hamill, pre-Star Wars, voicing Jeannie's "master"Cory in this cartoon.)
In the Season One episode "The Oasis", Dr. Smith eats alien fruit that makes him grow to giant size. (So does Debbie the Bloop.) I remember Maureen talking with the giant Dr. Smith, but I think that they just showed her looking up at him. They might not have been seen together at the same time. The episode is on Dailymotion, which I can't link to here.LittleAlisa wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 1970 6:52 pmIf they didn’t have an episode where it happened, the Robinsons from Lost in Space could have had encountered a race of giant humanoids.
I didn't watch Gilligan's Planet during its original Saturday morning run, because by then I had joined a Saturday morning bowling league. But I had heard that there was an episode in which Gilligan grows to giant size. I watched it for the first time today. Gilligan falls into a lake of yellow liquid and grows to giant size. He mainly interacts with the Skipper and the little green alien. But there are shots of the female characters and the giant Gilligan in the same frame. But you have to pay to watch it on YouTube. I watched it on Dailymotion, but the image is tilted. And it may have been sped-up a little, because the voices sound off. (But at least Dawn Wells was back on board as Mary Ann in this cartoon. Filmation workhorse Jane Webb voiced Mary Ann (and Ginger) in the earlier The New Adventures of Gilligan. She pretty much used the voice she used for Betty in the Filmation Archie (and Sabrina the Teenage Witch) cartoons for Mary Ann, and she used a "Marilyn Monroe" voice for Ginger, who's a platinum blonde in the cartoons, I assume because Tina Louise wouldn't allow her likeness to be used. She HATED being part of Gilligan's Island.) The episode title is "The Amazing Colossal Gilligan".LittleAlisa wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 1970 6:52 pmI believe there was a cartoon version of Gilligan’s Island where the castaways go into space. There was a shrinking episode of Family Matters, "Little Big Guy". But I think only Steve and "Big Guy"/Carl get shrunk. (I haven't watched that episode. I just read about it in TV Guide years ago. I think it was a season premiere.)LittleAlisa wrote: ↑Thu Jan 01, 1970 4:53 amSteve Urkel invented so much else on Family Matters, why not a shrink ray?

See my above post about the Season One episode "The Oasis".
(The footage of the Cyclops was filmed in color so it could be reused in later episodes. So was all of the footage of the Jupiter 2 taking off and landing.)
"The Goose That Lays the Golden Oranges" But I only remember Mary Ann looking up at the "giant" Skipper. They may not have been shown in the same frame together. I do remember "giant" Skipper chasing "Gilligan" around and grabbing him. But it was pretty obvious that it was a little kid wearing clothes like Gilligan's.

I think there was a later Family Matters where Urkel invented a shrink ray, but I think only he and Carl were shrunk down.
