Trying deepfakes for celebrity face swaps. I think these came out better than when I used the simple face swap. This is excellent news going forward, ImageFX is getting really difficult to generate celebrities.

Haven't done much SW stuff lately due to keeping it chill in-between surgeries, (the past month has been a friggen nightmare) but I did some celebrity face swaps tonight. I'll probably animate these at some point.

I've been meaning to tell you to try Gemini for swapping characters into these photos. You upload any handheld picture along with a separate reference photo of the celeb. Then ask it to import the celebrity into the scene with the giant hand.

Examples:






The good:

• You can get REALLY realistic images
• Faces actually match the reference celebrity
• You can easily swap outfits so long as they're not too revealing
• You can modify the scene and continue the narrative

The bad:

• Getting decent outputs can sometimes require a lot of trial and error
• Instead of outright refusing, it may just output the same image again or make a really lousy attempt
• You may have to open multiple chats to prevent stale and repeated images
• You may need to use multiple accounts if you can't get the image to generate within the number of daily generations per account
• To retry after getting a refusal you may have to press the redo button, or if it's not there you have to choose edit on your last message then resubmit it

Here are my (probably over-engineered) prompts for swapping characters in Gemini:

If you enter your prompts into this site, it can supercharge them. The enhanced prompts use specific language that can bypass plenty of content filters.
