Alex's friends ran to get help but before they could get back, a lady had purchased the dollhouse, not knowing the miniaturized Alex was inside. When she got home, she opened it to clean it and found Alex hiding in a corner. Stunned for a second, she reached into the dollhouse and wrapping her finger around her, picked her up out of the dollhouse. Alex begged her to call her friends or take her back to the church, but the lady just smiled and said her daughter's birthday is tomorrow and she would be the perfect birthday present.



Without her magic wand, Alex's friends could not track her. The woman had paid in cash so they couldn't find out where she lived.

Alex was given to the little girl the next day. From then on, she was the girl's favorite toy.

The plan appeared to be foolproof. Tatiana, a ballerina for the Russian Ballet wanted to defect to America. A CIA agent slipped her two newly invented pills, one would shrink her to five inches tall, the other restore her to her normal height. The ballet troupe was to have dinner at an exclusive restaurant. The Ladies room had no windows so her security guards would stay outside the restroom when she used it. Once inside the restroom, she would shrink herself, climb through a vent into the kitchen, then restore herself, put on a kitchen staff uniform and slip out the back door of the building.

At the scheduled time, Tatiana excused herself to use the restroom. Security cleared it out, so she was alone. She took the first pill and within five minutes, she was miniaturized and crawling through the vent, naked, but carrying the second pill, which was tiny enough for her to eat it in her shrunken state, in her hand. The vent opened up on a table where freshly cooked donuts were cooling. Suddenly, she heard someone approaching so she hid in the only place she could find, the center of a donut. The worker, who was terribly nearsighted, did notice her as she picked up the donuts and placed them on the conveyor belt to be covered in chocolate. Tatiana, hiding in the donut, was covered in chocolate. The quick hardening chocolate trapped her, and she was unable to move her arms to get the pill to her mouth. The worker picked up the donuts and placed them on a serving tray.

The donuts were put on a buffet table and the first person to the table was a young man who had an obsession with Tatiana. He happened to glance down and see her struggling in the chocolate, so he grabbed that donut and put a napkin over top of it and returned to his table. He asked the waitress for a take-home box and placed Tatiana and the donut in the box, then feigning an emergency phone call, left the restaurant.

By now, security realized that she was taking too long in the restroom and went in to find only her clothes. They began to frantically search the building and streets, but the young man with his captive was long gone. When he got home, he took her out of the box, and to her horror, began to eat the donut around her. She got her arm free and tried to put the pill in her mouth, but the man flicked her hand with his finger and pill went flying across the room, lost in the thick carpet.

After consuming the donut, the man licked Tatiana clean from the remainder of the chocolate, washed her in the sink and locked her in a bird cage until he decided what to do with, or rather, to her. She had wanted her freedom to dance for the world without the restraints of her government only to find herself a tiny prisoner subjected to the whim of her new owner.
